Question Best bike 150cc/above for city traffic

Hello all xbhp'ians..

I'm planning to buy a bike.. 150cc/above.. budget is 1.2..

I'm 23, 5'10 and will drive 100% in city.. (30-50 km).. mileage not a priority.. top speed is not a priority.. 110 would be fine.. as I would rarely go over 90 in city..

I need a bike which has good acceleration.. excellent handling.. I rip traffic with tvs wego 35-55 in traffic.. and with karizma r.. 50-75 in traffic..I drive with precision (cuts, burts.. et all).. no one beats me in traffic (it's not like I race with anyone ut I like brezzing through traffic.. )..

I need a bike which is excellent to maneuver through traffic and driving comfort.. pillion comfort is not a priority .. so please suggest a bike suitable..

and few other queries.. about r15 and karizma zmr.. I didn't drive either of those.. but r15 riding posture seems like it will be difficult to maneuver in traffic.. with shoulder weight falling on the handle and with it's bulky head..
karizma zmr with regular posture but still with bulky head..

many of my friends have karizma r.. so I'm thinking of others.. but still longing for it.. and pulsar runs out of promise after 2-3 years..

if majority of you suggest r15 is comfortable and ease in traffic.. then I have no problems taking it..

Thank you..

Your statement about R15 is giving back pain or other traffic issues is wrong as i myself use my R15 everyday in traffic.

Gray-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

so basically, you need an urban warrior, which can beat others within city. i will recommend-
  • Pulsar 220 S
  • Apache 180 with or without ABS
you can also consider FZ-S, but performance won't match above two bikes.

other bikes like karizma etc are not made for urban warfare.

even R15 will find it diffuclt to beat above two bikes in city.

RTR 180 with or without ABS(your wish)
if you are a bajaj fan you can go with p220s(dont select the one with fairing)
If you like naked bikes a lot, you can wait for the KTM200...

as prince said go for P220 Street or Apache 180 ....... I recommend you ride properly on busy streets and do not race..

A180 is the best bet. But do be careful in traffic. Which City are you from dude?
You rarely go above 90 in traffic.. Damn, I am hardly able to go above 60, with half the time, speeds being below 40...
