Default Which bike last long (Pulsar 200NS or Honda CB Unicorn)?

    Hi,
I want to buy a bike(Minimum 150CC) which has good build quality and lasts long(as I want to keep this bike and go for car instead of buying another bike).

I am stuck between Honda CB Unicorn, Suzuki GS 150R, Hero ZMR and Pulsar 200 NS (Top speed is not my concern.)

Could you please mention PROs and CONs of both bikes and which Bike is good for my scenerio ?

    Thanks in Advance.

    What Bike Query Approved

In my humble opinion, if longevity is your only criteria, please stick to the Honda CB Unicorn. Its pros are that it will return better FE, require less care during maintenance (than a premium bike like 200NS).
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Durability is where you come into picture sir.

Maintain either of them well, they'll serve you 5-7 years without requiring any major overhaul.
But as Anant bro said, Unicorn shall return better mileage figures.
If you're not the performance lover kinds, opt for Unicorn.

Else, its NS all the way!

    Long lasting (no tension) bike?

Go for the Splendor (seriously).. It has proved itself for around 18 years now.

Thanks for your suggestions. I am looking for a bike with minimum 150CC.

Unicorn actually looks outdated to me though it has good reliability.

Two more bikes I am looking at are ZMR and Suzuki GS 150R.

Mileage around 40 should be fine for me. Budget around 1 lakh.

    My Details: Height - 5.9'' , Age 25, Weight ~ 75 Kgs

Note: I am not interested in Yamaha or TVS.

Please suggest which bike is better among the 4 and why (Pros and cons).

    Thanks.

Friend why don't you go through the Owners thread before any conclusion. It's more better than us writting here pros and cons.
This will clear all your doubts

Sorry but spoon feeding is like, we answer the same in most of the threads and we see people are not reading those threads or ownership thread.
So why are we creating ownership thread or why did we answered those What bike threads in details.

Please friend go through the ownership thread, if something is not clear then we will be more happy to help you in all ways!!

When Speed is not your concern then why NS200 or ZMR in your list??

Unicorn or GS150 are good mileage city rides. This bikes will help you to save lot of petrol cost. GS150 is more better with Unicorn.
this both bikes will come for 84k and 76K respectively. Where as ZMR or NS200 are 1.3L and 98K respectively.
BTW why do you need a bike?? city or highway or Tour ?? what purpose??

+1 ...excellent, but sadly its not a 150 CC.

why don't you go for ZMR, really nice bike, you will like it much more than a unicorn.

and i don't think it has any longivity or reliability problems.

    Hi,
My Friends are saying that ZMR maintenance cost would be high, if it falls.

Could you please comment on this?

Also what is the least and best mileages you are getting with ZMR ?
