    Hey

In my opinion if you already own a RE and a P200 then the choice shouldn't be that tough - Duke390.
It has got better specs, looks, newest bike in the market, in your budget where is the confusion ?

I would gladly say get the Duke 390. But if you are looking to tour on it, then its the Dominar. This is based on the comfort level I have felt on the Dominar to be higher than than the "previous gen" Duke.

Though on second thoughts your requirements confuse me. If you have a RE already, why do you want another tourer?

    OK.

First off the duke has come a long way from 2013. The alloy wheel issue along with many other have been ironed out with successive iterations.
The new 2017 duke will likely have its own set of problems.

Now moneywise, it will be a subjective choice.
    90k is good amount.
Keep an eye on the Dominar ownership thread and wait for the 2017 Duke 390 thread to catch pace. Deliveries should start from next month I suppose.

Personally, whenever I come across a Dominar it looks like a bigger Pulsar to me. So it doesn't appeal to me that much.
And if daily commute and touring is the aim then you should take into consideration the weight of the bike too.

    Cheers.

The Duke 390 makes more sense considering the kind of motorcycles you already own. Buying another tourer would be a matter of choice. Also, the extra 90K is worth the value considering the extra power and features that the motorcycle has to offer. Would also add to the mix of motorcycles in your garage. Most of the issues with the earlier Duke have been solved on the new one. Although, early batches will reveal the truth untold. My advice is to wait and watch early adopters.

Buddy to be honest the Duke may be a safer buy as well. The older 390 has proven its worth, and if you want testimony for reliability, simply due to the fact that I myself have read countless travelogues in which the 390 has been all over the country and even to some neighbouring countries, I would not hesitate in vouching for it.

I recently purchased the Dominar and although in the one month I have had it, I am not facing any issues, I do feel that this bike has a long way to go before proving itself as a viable and reliable touring machine. I had the NS for 3.5 years and toured a lot on it. It never stranded me anywhere, simply because I took care of it. So though Bajaj is not unreliable I would wait and watch if I were you before putting my money down on a tourer whose credentials arent proven.

I know that last line seems hypocritical, but in all honesty since the past year I have not been touring a lot and the Dominar for me is simply an upgrade from the NS and it has not been acquired for any rigorous touring purposes.

    Hope this helps buddy.
