    Default Choosing new motor bike

Hi Friends I am looking forward to buy another two wheeler

Currently I own Honda Hornet 160r, before this I had KTM Duke 200.
I am looking for a fun to drive yet very practical motor bike.
My daily commute is 50km home -> office, office -> home, most of the time at odd times (7:15am, 4:00pm)
but at times have to drive under extreme traffic condition where it takes more than 3 hours just for 25km.
Though this is not a kind of review but my experience with Duke 200 made me to look for less powerful (== less heat),
no FI, no liquid cooling( less trouble) bike and hence i happen to land over Honda Hornet.
There were reliability issues as well with Duke but I believe that they are specific to my particular model.
    Problems:
    1. Motion sensor for head light won't allow to switch off/on while engine is running. I stopped turning engine off
at traffic signal fearing that head light won't come up in single click.
    2. Coolant leakage though a common problem but that white smoke for the first time made me feel that
its time to call fire fighters.
    3. Display not able to show average speed once vehicle is little heated up.
    4. Starter coil gone, have to call for towing. (after 10,000 kms, after 2 years, out of warranty)

All these made me to look for something which is tried and tested and which is there in market for long.
I made my mind to buy Unicorn first but then can't control to go for little sporty version of it( Hornet 160)
Now after driving hornet for 10k Kms in 1 year i am feeling the need of more powerful and fun to drive vehicle.

Options are Yamaha fz25, Bajaj Dominor, Honda cbr 250r or anything you can suggest (less than in 2.25L)

    My priorities:
Should be able to drive comfortably in heavy traffic.
Sufficient acceleration to beat those stupid cabbies without much struggle.
    Refined engine.
Comfortable for pillion for short journey.

Between the 3, the FZ would be the best for traffic. Its also the lightest by quite a margin

+1 to @The Monk sir's post. FZ25 ticks all your check boxes. Take test rides and then decide.

PS. Monk Sir, I think this post is in Help Me section by mistake, it should be in What Bike section.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

I agree with @The Monk sir! FZ25 is the simplest bike in your list. The CBR250R tends to get heated in traffic because of the fairing..

But CBR250 isn't available anymore. They have removed it from the Honda website!

It will be soon, they will simply put out a new paint scheme and a bs4 variant , no updates, if your riding is going to be mostly in the city, fz 25 is the bike for you, it has fantastic low end torque and will do the job, CBR is devoid of low end torque, power only kicks in after 5000rpm.

I have a gut feeling they will launch the 300.. If they were to launch the same bike with new paint scheme! Why remove? They still have navi which is bs3 listed and smaller capacity bikes..
