Default xBHP - Bikers Heaven: Glad to be here!!

Hello x-Bhpians,

A bit of background first about me. I am 27 years old, born and brought up in Bangalore. Am working in Bangalore in an IT company.

My love for 2 wheels was from age 10 when i learnt cycling. Ever since there has been no stopping me. Once i learnt riding motocycles, I have owned a few different varieties of bikes. The bikes I have owned are as below
Suzuki Samurai - Learnt riding on this bike and the first bike i owned. It had done close to 80k kms before selling it.
Pulsar 150 DTSi [Spoke wheels] - First lot of DTSi's rolled out. Used it for 10k kms and then sold it off as the driving bug bit me during that time.
After driving for around an year, i got fed up and wanted to go back to the freedom of riding.
Yamaha RX-135 [4-Speed] - Wanted to own this bike for quite sometime since the samurai days. But got the chance only later in life. Amazing 12k kms I have had with this bike.
Apache RTR-160 - It was during the ownership of the RX that this bike was released. Could not resist the urge to pick one up. Used it for a little over 6k kms before selling it as I had to go onsite for 2 years and no one back home wanted to use a geared bike.

Now I am back to Bangalore and got myself a Pulsar 220 DTSi in Sept 09.
It has been pure biking Nirvana with the Fastest Indian. Went on a 500 km road trip soon after it crossed 750 kms. Will add my ownership experience shortly and also my travelogue.

I cant express my glee in words for being here on x-Bhp with all the knowledgeable members and would like to add a note of appreciation to the moderator team as I browsed thru the entire P220 thread of 254 pages in the last 4 days and the quality maintained is at very high levels. So kudos to the mods for such a great job!!

-Abhi
