Satyajit Bullet Rider .... Hi Xbhpians ...
I dream about the big mean machine, roaring with a beautiful thumping sound which is a lullabuy for my ears.
From my early childhood days i was in love with motercycles, specially big bikes, but when you are a kid even a hero puch is a big bike for you. I loved to go for ride on my fathers motercycle. My old man used to ride a RD350 which he does not let me or my bro ride till date. His prized possession.
I learned to ride my bike when I was 13, on my friends dad's PRIYA scooter, and my uncles RX 100. I fell in love with bikes but in the deep corner of my heart I always wanted to get a Royel Enfield Bullet (RED) colour ... childhood dream. But my parents didnt let me have any bike of my own. So after I started working and started earning i bought my first bike a Honda Unicorn, lovely bike with great power, which I realised when i met with an accident and broke my knee. Because of my mistake it happened and I had to sold off my baby. For me the ride ended, but after recovered and persuing my parents and getting rid of the fear of getting into another accident I bought a bajaj CT 100. A smaller bike nothing compares to my dream and the bikes I loved. But this purchase and riding was against my parents and docters wishes. Later after they realised my love for these machines and preparing myselfs which is after 4 years I got my baby. ROYAL ENFIELD 350 1974 model, its an awesome machine with mindblowing power. Took it for long trips for Mandermani (westbengal) solo, and shantinikatan (solo).
All the rides were against my parents and my lovely wife's wishes, but now after being riding with me couple of times she started loving it a aswell. Now this year while browsing internet for bikes i saw an advertisement for a Bull, saw it and again fall for it. I guess its a flaw in my character , and bought her. She is a shiny black STD 350 1991 model. I have not been to any long ride with her yet. Looking for a long road trip.
The best thing about being a rider is your bull impress ppl and also influance ppl. My brother in law got so impressed by my bulls, he got a STD 350 1982 black beauty for himself.
Now the icing for the cake is my father did let me ride his babe the great RD350 when I let him ride my STD 350.
BULLET the best bike even after all the flaws, it will make you feel and make you realise that its not just a machine, its a living machine with its own unique character.
