This should have been posted earlier, better late than never I guess.

Short history,

I got my first stallion during my engineering days 7-8 years back, a red pulsar 150 dtsi, this was when alloys weren't in market. loved it throughout.
Only problem with bajaj guys are that, they introduce a face lift or upgrade every 6-12 months. So some 6-7 months down the road there came the silver alloys, then the full black 180dtsi, O gosh !! i got so pissed off

Rode my red king for 5+ years when I had to go abroad during that time she was laying idle and mom gets ideas - and as they say in malayalam - "wittu puttadichu" - she sold him off !

Now I'm back home sweet home (trivandrum) and only thing pending is to place that order. And as they say :

Once a biker, Always a biker !!

Hi Soojy.....
Welcome to XBHP mate. You were a biker and will be a biker.
Yes you absolutely correct, Bajaj kept on experimenting with the looks in the starting but now i think they are more stable. Brought the black alloys, clip ons and projector headlamps.....everything is going good for them. Except the clutch plate wear tear problems in their lower end bikes.
I appreciate Bajaj for their aggresive nature and keeping the basics strong from the start and alluring the Indian Cutomers with their price, look, power and VFM factor(Value for Money) but i wish they could improve their quality abit atleast in their engine dept.

But this was totally not to discourage you from buying a BAJAJ bike. I got a P220 just a fews months back and this is awesome and unbeatable once it crosses the 4K RPM mark. The paint Job is good, handling is excellent and Power is awesome.

Anyways sorry for all the boring stuff. Good Luck for your new Buy. Hope you choose with a wiser thought and more wiser mind.
Cheers for Joining in Here Mate....!!!!

Thanks all.

@frogfoot - congrats on your P220 !

I faced some minor issues too, but nothing big. And the Bajaj (Deedi) servicing here is awesome. They will listen to you and are all ears to clear any doubts.

Have my eye on the 250s, especially the greener one, these days. Heard R15 V2 comes to my shore tomorrow, will take a look at that too.

Ride Safe !
