Smile Finally an Xbhpian .. Officially!

Hi guyz,

I have to be honest here... I havent had the inclination so far to actually post on the forum but have actually been following XBhp passively for quite some time now!

I am a sailing as Master on chemical tankers and having just shifted to Pune from Mumbai (boy am I glad I did!) a few months back, I was trawling through the net on various biking forums to gather as much info as possible for purchasing a new steed.

Being in the merchant navy has its pros but definitely more cons when it comes to biking and riding!! I have been riding on and off (as and when the sea permits!!) since the last 15 years... started off on the humble chetak and went on to Splendour and then upgraded to the Karizma and eventually the Pulsar...

I was planning to upgrade to a proper sports bike, however as it turned out, I was out at sea whilst the ninja 650 was launched and by the time I came back, the bookings were already full! So that nixed the idea of a 650 purchase... (hyosung isnt really to my liking... no offence meant to all the hyosung owners here!!)

I had booked a baby CBR in Feb 2011 and the inordinately long delay meant that the Honda guyz called me only after nearly 6 months of waiting!! I was really tired of waiting and after a quick decision upon seeing the green goblin on display in the Shivajinagar showroom, managed to get my baby kwacker a few days back!!

It has been a beautiful ride so far! The fit and finish on the bike is superb and the riding position falls into place beautifully! Am really looking forward to some interesting times and long rides on the ninja with fellow xBhpians.

I trust and hope that I shall gain a lot of experience and knowledge from all the senior riders out there and be a better rider...

Welcome aboard Captain!!!

You've really made a wise decision in opting for the Baby Ninja.

Here's wishing you a smooth sail.
