I'm Ananth from Bangalore. I have been a silent member of this community since June 2008. Good to see xBhp back!  Name : Ananth Occupation : IT Specialist / IBM Interests : Biking / Computers & Internet Form of Biker : Tourer / City Rider Bike's owned: TVS Victor (2005) Best Long drive: Chennai - Bangalore - Chennai Message to fellow bikers: A – Anticipate other road user’s actions and allow for occasional idiots. B – Be alert and on the lookout, especially at junctions and roundabouts C – Curb your speed in wet or icy conditions. Always be ready to brake. D – Drive on opposite side of lane if turning left/right for a better view. E – Evaluate before you overtake. Look for hazards. F – Focus on keeping your cool if a driver winds you up. Don’t race. G – Glance over your shoulder (commonly called a "lifesaver") at those moments when you need to be fully aware of your surroundings. H – Headlights dipped in daylight conditions will give you added visibility. I could go on. Perhaps ‘I’ could be your new mantra. Now repeat daily, “I will not let my bike outperform me.” Good luck & Happy Riding!! Cheers! Ananth |
