Every time we’re riding down the road, each one of us comes across a stray cow, a stray dog, or some or the other stray animal. Sometimes we just dodge and ride past, sometimes we just swear to ourselves silently. In a place like India, where a cat crossing your way is considered negative, we also have the contrast wherein animals are considered sacred. How many of us help a dog dying by the roadside, or cow hit by a car? How many of us actually take out time to contribute to saving Mother Nature?

In xBhp we have learnt to care, not just for ourselves and our steeds, but also for the world around us. In the past we’ve seen numerous examples of bikers helping for some or the other cause. This time, it is your chance to show your love for animals.
Loving animals is not just about loving your furry pet at home or admiring the cows, horses, dogs and other animals our fellow bikers click and post in the threads. I, being a proud part of xBhp invite all Delhi bikers and all animal oriented people to the ANIMAL Rally on Saturday, the 24th of April ’10. All you need to do is ride down to the venue and voice the cause. Even if you haven't been involved with such a cause before, it isn't a bad time to take the start. Just imagine, what a sight it would be to see a group of bikers riding down to the venue and supporting for a cause. It would not just give you the happiness, but would also help improve the image of us bikers to a great extent in front of the general public. So, Be There!

Venue-Jantar Mantar.
Timings-4.30pm--7.30pm.

The rally supports the following causes:

1. ABC (ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL), a successful concept.

2. Effective strong action against illegal slaughter houses

3. Strict implementation of cattle/livestock transportation rules.

4. Prevention of atrocities on stray animals and promotion of the emerging trend towards people taking to feeding and caring for them.

All animal NGOs are coming together as one voice, so please come in large/ massive numbers and awaken the civic and Government authorities from their slumber.

@Mohit: Thats a very good thought, however you can expect to see better response if you decide together and lead the group the venue. You can coordinate with everyone here. It will also be good to have a specific time for everyone to collect and ride.

And for parking, the safest parking would be the underground parking of Pallika, and you come out in front of Regal and then hardly a walk to jantar mantar from there.. so see to it....
