Good good
we need someone like you on all rides to write trip logs.

And cheers to Biru for locating the camping spot and MG for wonderful pics

Some pieces of story are missing like:

1) Torch Wars
2) Photographers aka aatank
3) Kutton ki fauj :P

Default The morning we woke up to...

A normal day of my life consists of numerous snoozing of alarm, and later taking a bath and other stuff, All of this while, I am still half asleep. But this morning was different. Infact so much that there was no snoozing of alarms, no haggling with mom for some more time to sleep, no need to bath, nothing at all. Infact, when I got up, the first thought to cross my mind was whats next? The very next thought was "why am I a couple of feet away from where I had slept in the night?". the thought crossed that maybe since I was mocking about the crocks, one of them had tried to pull me while I was sleeping like a log of wood. Soon, I noticed a shoe lying at the edge of the lake! I was about to mock about the shoe when I realised that one of my shoes is missing and I ran to fetch my shoe before the lake could gobble up the shoe.

As I was the last to wake up (except for magar mach), everyone was ready with their plans for the day. With biru at duties with the cam, We captured some more of the beauty of the surrounding in pixels. here go the pics.

Since We did not want to spoil the lake by bathing in it, we decided to give a public bath a skip. However, this did not prevent biru from grooming himself lest some hot chick drops by..

Soon, MG also joined him. but he had a bit different plans of pics. this might give you an idea of what he was upto...

After this, MG decided to teach kashif a lesson. I mean he decided to give kashif some lessons about photography.these are the pics that followed.

Soon, this side of the lake did not seem to amaze us. we then moved on to the other side of the lake to get some better pics. We all (except the sleeping magarmach) gladly followed. in amidst of this, mg suddenly stopped (go knows for what) and I clicked a random Pic which came out to be pretty decent. So here is one more Pic.

while, I tried my hand in silhoute photography, The incompetency is clearly visible in this pic that I took.

After some more of sunrise pics, We started to get bored of clicking away the scenery so MG suggested to dramatise the otherwise boring pics. after hearing this, we jumped in joy.

then we jumped again cos kashif jumped earlier. so by the time the pic was clicked, he was on ground while others were still in air.

A retake was not that successful either, but somehow, liked the way kashif jumed...

but then As surojit got a bit too ecited, MG decided to fire him from the post of the lead jumper. hence here comes the pic of mg shooting surojit. a pic worthy of Matrix overloaded.

here is the similar shot in eastman colour

After surojit had been fired at and he still escaped a la-rajnikant style- dodging bullets, We decided to pep the scenes a bit more and decided to add a water fountain in the background. so while I was given the duty of throwing the rocks, kashif was shooting the pics, suro and mg decided to do a flying shoot. here comes the pic with the fountain just blooming in the background.

but biru did something thats worthy of www.kick_me_in_the ARSE.com ... this pic says everything...

By now, the sun was coming down on us a bit hard so we decided to abandon any more pics and head to our resting spot, where we had our pet magarmach sleeping peacefully with the dogs. speaking of which, here is the pic of the leader of the Dog "howling and jumping g2g" at pavana lake. this particular dog is suspected for jumping over our heads, howling the whole night, and not letting us sleep peacefully. we wished shrinath had joined us for the ride... atleast the dogs would have kept distance from us... here comes the posing pic of the dog...

In amidst of this, I discovered a new variant of me. lo behold, here comes the Captian-lens. (In a CIBACA toothbrush ad variant )

Soon, biru needed his dose of morning drinks (i.e The tea ) and decided to leave us behind ( after We lazy buggers did not bulge despite his repeated pestering). but this was not before another pose..

So, we finally woke up the magarmach and asked him if was any mood to leave the place. we (obviously)could not force him. but he readily agreed to bulge his "you know what". The epic one liner was then heard by a lucky few of us. yes, this one liner was from the magarmach (our magarmach talks you know!). the lines were : "YAAR, NEED HI NAHI AAYI". after hearing this, we decided that its better to leave before we have to pay for waking up the magarmach. so we packed our beding and proceeded to the checkout counter (I mean the place where we had parked our bikes). Soon, we saw the mess that we had made the night before so we cleaned it up.

Now, since surojit's bike had managed to find a nail in the road the night before, surojit had to get the puncture repaired, he and anant left ahead of the rest of the group so that he could get the tyre repaired before us getting ready to head home. So suro and antz left us to clean the place (big lie! they cleaned it up while I had been clicking some hopeless pics of the place where we had slept). Just before Suro and antz left, MG clicked a group pic with some of the scenery.

after the pic session, MG decided to go for a Bath and the rest of the gang (except me), decided to look for some decent breakfast. so, vipin, biru, and kashif left for fetching the breakfast. soon, mg's short bath was over with no visible signs of wetness, and suro and antz arrived. nut this was not until we reminded them of the fact that if they do not turn up, their saddle bags and luggage could end up being torn appart by the local dogs. after they arrived, We rode down the slopes, found the rest of the gang and ordered the breakfast. since, the owner was not expecting a gang of 7 hungry bikers to turn up at his shop, we got the breakfast one by one. the best part was that since I had ordered the last, by the time my dish arrived, everyone was full so I could leisurely eat the breakfast.. lol

after the breakfast, we settled the bills, and started our ride home. here is the group pic enroute to our homes.

Soon, we were on the highway and ripping on smooth roads. oh god! how much I had hated this smooth road earlier, and now (after getting some offroads), I started loving them again. But most Importantly, before I could love the roads any further, I realised that my buddies had ensured this camping was fun, thanks to surojit for pestering me to join in. Thanks to MG, Kashif, and Vipin for planing and organising the camping g2g. Thanks to biru for those wity one liners. Thanks to Antz, for enduring the high beams of my headlight even if they irritated you to the core.

btw, The credit for the pics go to mg , biru, anant and kashif... its easy to experience something but to capture it in pixells is an art... Thanks everyone for making the memories un-dilutable....

In our zeal for a comfortable life, we are forgetting the joys of sleeping under the sky, the joy of spending a night with like minded people, the joy of spending a night amidst the beauty of nature, the joy of having dinner with bare hands instead of the usual knives and forks. The joy of having one liners when you least expect them. I had these all.
Once more, Thanks everyone for making this ride a memorable one. I do wish to join in for more of such g2g!

PS: if you noticed the one line where my mom had kept a condition for me to go for this ride, the condition was to clean up the mess that I call as my room. and oh boy, cleaning was never more fun. especially when you are still not out of the fun you have had just hours ago .

We were stationed at a spot which was barely visible from the road.. and since we made no noise, no fuss, and no bonfire, nobody would have even noticed us 80 meters below road level on a moon-less night.

@Rockrz.. nice writeup.

1 Question: Why do we always include more details of the 'to' journey and skip the details of the return journey..

..
I doubt this is d right place to ask this...
but there r group of goons who act as moral police ,see the link:
Pune goons pervert privacy , News - Nation - Bangalore Mirror,Bangalore Mirror

and i hv read a few more who just snatch the bike and run away...
though you were in a big group..so u were safe..

if we go in group of 2-3..is that risky..& nothing can be done about it..apart from insurance...
m i being xtra afraid kya?
