Thanks for the same. Actually, I PM-ed SunilG about the same before I posted and I was suggested to create this thread. He advised me to create the thread and he suggested that it will be moved to appropriate section. I am awaiting for the same.

The Mangalore Offline G2G thread does not have any recent post, neither it has any recent communication about G2G. Hence, thought of opening a fresh thread. To update about our group, we have around 50 members riding together here in Mangalore. Recently, we have done North-East ride, ride to Ladakh and we are planning for a pan India ride from here. Two of us have completed Saddlesore last month together.



So, we will definitely make Mangalore biking community a BIG thing and off course, we require active participation of yours. Together, we will make a difference.

Sure buddy. Lets catch up on the scheduled time and date. I was out of Mangalore for a week . So, could not reply or update in between. Lets await for few more days for few more responses on this thread. There are folks who have confirmed their participation over phone. We will zero down the details of the meeting by coming weekend.

PS - Any ideas on Road conditions? From what i last heard, they are very poor. People who have been on that stretch kindly contribute.

Hey Krish,

Thanks for joining in. I think you are referring to the Manglaore-Kasargod road condition which was pathetic till few months back. I travelled in the same route couple of months back. Patchwork has been done and I got a feedback from the commuters that the road is in better shape, though I did not get any chance to travel on the same route very recently.

By the way, we are riding to Wayanad this weekend for a 2.5 days' trip starting from mangalore. Any of you, who is interested to join us for this ride, please call me at 9845510637.

Well, its good to see this forum come alive again, largely thanks to SaKshar - buddy nice to hear from you again! :-)

Ok, about me, in case the later entrants never caught up, my name's Shawn
Fernandez, based in Mangalore with a showroom for Interiors. Largely a Yezdi fan and have a '93 Roadking and an '84 Deluxe and an '84 Vespa. Currently am building up from scratch an '80's model D250 Yezdi Classic.

Was big time into xbhp biking scene when there were primarily just 3 -4 of us. But have cut down now due to certain restrictions. Nevertheless, our Yezdi club tries and meet up once a month for a beach ride and every year, apart from the World Jawa Day in July, have also participated in the Southern Raid for Jawas & Yezdis, once at Kodaikanal and then at Calicut.
