A total of 11 bike(12 people) joined for the meet..

We started from Bangalore at about 10:30(instead of 9:30 IST- Indian Stretchable Time []). We headed straight for Sangam on the beautiful Kanakpura Road. Wide enough road with good curves et al.

We had a cop stop few kilometers before Kanakpura. We had somethig to quench the thirst(coconuts). And started again. Thomas was peg scraping most of the times on his modded CBZ. We were a bit slowed down coz Navid's P180 was just below 1000 kms on the bike and the Boxer (no issues/offence here ).

With a stop for fuel in Kanakpura and few stops for pics in between we reached Sangam by 1 O'clock. Had some snacks there enjoyed the scenery and left for B'lore again.

Had another Butt break in Kanakpura and started ripping the bikes like crazy( remind me not to overtake when a bike is overtaking a bike that is overtaking a four wheeler []). We had though of having an "Entertainment" session with drags and stunts et al but thanks to the confusion it dint completely materialize. Though we had a couple of wheelies from Joel and Santosh..

We had our lunch at around 5(yeah lunch at 5) at Eden dhaba near B'lore. And left to our homes by 6....

Woah!! what a day it was (tho we missed out on the stunts, which we plan to have sometime next month)... 200kms of pure fun

That was a very good meet!I enjoyed every bit of the ride and so did others.keep up the good work sksy!u managed the group so well that i started thinking that u were my old school sir(jus joking)!
well for the first g2g of bangalore I think this is really good!good job ppl!
Infact we had to play with the weather to get to sangam which is 90 odd kms from bangalore and the ride along the country streach was really breath taking.i have been there couple of times but still i love the scenery.we were intitially ripping along the road as soon as we started off and then we realised that we had mates who had boxers and run-in p180.we were all blazing along the road like street hawks and the ride was really amazing.i nearly missed an accident when i was doing 108kmph on my fiero along with redrage,thomas,raqscta when an accent suddenly stopped to take a turn and i braked like crazy to stop the bike.thank God the previous day i had changed the disc pads and were very good and my moto-d at the front and fkr at the rear did the needful.we headed straight untill cops waved their hand for a lift(just joking.for checking).we all produced our docs and headed ahead and stopped for some snapshots and to quench our thirst.i was wearing a leather jacket and it was too sunny and i was thinking why the hell did i ever think of wearing it but later when the wheather changed i got the answer.when we reached kanakpura thomas and few others had to fill their thirsty bikes.we all amintained a constant speed of 60-65kmph but the roads were really tempting to open the throttle fully.after a while i cud not bear it anymore so did others.we all were then cruising at 80-90kmph on roads as narrow as 20ft and was bumpy as well.our bikes were literally flying at those speeds and i cud feel my fiero popping-up many times on the bumps.we stopped again for a snap shot and headed quickly to sangam as it had already started to drizzle.we finally reached sangam around 1.30pm and we had some snacks (yes snacks instead of lunch)and spent around 45mins there taking snaps and chatting.we got plenty of time to know each other and we even started planning for the next g2g.we left the place and then there was no looking back and all were showing off how much their bikes cud displace on track.unfortunately the boxer and the run-in p180 cud not match our endurance and the ride back was really inspiring.redrage exchanged his zma with nfsnfs' p180 and rode all the way till almost kanakpura.I was happily ahead of all zooming all alone at 112kmph and then after almost 5mins i realised that there was nobody behind me and i was busy ripping an ambition's ass (somebody else on road).i stopped and waited for 15mins and then headed back then i saw redrage coming on my way blinking his lights to slow.i was 9 kms ahead of them and then we had that tyre burn session by ashwin and a small flip-around by me.we had plans to organise a drag race but there was no suitable road so we dropped that plan.infact i was fully spirited for any game!we then headed ahead toward bangalore another 20kms and stopped.i then took raqscta's fiero which had just 10k on the odo (the same guy who posted that he did 120 with pillion on his classic)with a high wheelie almost life a flip-over and then unleashed his fiero to the max to test his testimony.to my surprise i was able to touch 118kmph on his bike effortlessly and had potential to do more.that dude was at 80 on my bike.we stopped at a nearby dhaba to have our lunch by 5pm.i did a small flip-turn to impress the crown and headed into the parking lot.we had our lunch and then we hada test ride session.ajith took thomas' bike for a ride and did 100kmph.i took crusoe's zma and ajith again redrage's zma. redrage(dilip)had fitted a K&N filter on his zma and i was really amazed with its performance in the lower gears.Infact me (joel) and ajith were dragging on crusoe's and redrage's zmas and i found the power of redrages zma really phenomenal.it did 120kmph in just a few seconds may be just 16sec and the bike really sounded like a mini RD350 like how he had described in one of his post about the k&N filter.we then headed towards the city and parted ways after a snap shot by sksy.infact it was a real good moment for us to enjoy and become more friendly than just posting on xbhp.thanx a lot guys for making the 1st meet really remarkable and worth recollecting!
lets make a bigger blast next time.(we r planning to visit the TVS fact nex time)this is our next mission.lets see!!
