Default All India Emergency Rescue System (AIERS)

    Hi fellow riders!

I came up with this idea today.

    Background:

We all agree that no matter how well prepared we are, there can be some breakdowns which require help.

This help can be a small thing for the local guy to arrange but the riders from some other part of the country may find it difficult. Then there are lone riders who require it more than the pack riders.

    Idea:
What if we can create a database of people with their location and contact details willing to help a brother or sister in need ?

I live near Chandigarh, Zirakpur to be precise. In case you seriously require help in case if breakdowns or accidents and you are near my location, give me a call at +919855551767, I will be there for you, provided I am in town, or at least I can give you some fruitful information.

If anyone is willing to do the same in his/her location, kindly share their contact number and location in the linked Google Form ONLY.

I will create a list and publish it so that you all can save it...no need to give your name or sex, that may create a privacy breach, just number and location...your xBhp id will be your name.

What do you think about this idea?

With the great help from the members of xBhp and the support by @The Monk, we have this section up and running.

    Dear All,

If you would like to enrol for the AIERS system, kindly follow the below guidelines:

    Q. How To Enrol?
Ans. Go to the Google form, linked below, and enter your details.

    Enter your details

PLEASE USE THE GOOGLE FORM TO UPLOAD YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION

    Q. How to use AIERS?
Ans. Multiple ways to use AIERS.

    1. Plan your ride and store relevant contact details in your smartphone from the AIERS list.

Here is a link to the List

    AIERS LIST

THIS ANDROID APP IS NOT UPDATED ANYMORE BECAUSE I SHIFTED TO IPHONE. Finding alternatives. KINDLY USE THE METHOD 1.

    2. If you have an Android smartphone with internet access:
Another way to keep up to date with the list on your Android smartphone (thanks goes to @bbsrailfan for pointing out the app.) Still in BETA status. Inform me of any errors.

    1. Install Memento Database app on your Android Smartphone

Google Play Link [NOT WORKING CURRENTLY]

    2. Go to "Subscribe to library" and in the search field type "valkyrie#AIERSv2" (without the quotes)

    3. Sync data

    4. List will be generated. The list will be grouped according to States.

    5. Data once synced will be accessible offline too.

    6. This list will be updated every 24 hrs.
Also, AIERS List has been mapped.

For detailed instructions and screenshots kindly go to the below link (thanks to @bbsrailfan for the easy guide)

Guide to set up AIERS Synchronization on your Android Smartphone

Also, AIERS List has been mapped.
    AIERS on Map

Please note that I will keep on updating the map from time to time but it can not be up to date all the time, for up to date list you still have to refer the AIERS List.

Do not share the link anywhere else for your own privacy!

AIERS system is strictly for emergencies ONLY. Please DO NOT contact people for stuffs other than that.

    PLEASE USE THE
GOOGLE FORM TO UPLOAD YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION

DO NOT ENTER YOUR DETAILS DIRECTLY IN THE FORUM.
