Well its been long time since mumbai Xbhpians had some fun and some muscle flexin and newer members from mumbai were gunning for a proper g2g..So then here it is.

17th october 2004.(Date is final and will not be changed)

The proceeds will be as:

The meet up point is Bandra reclamation at 10 Am(the closed section) members who came last time know what i mean..
A brief introduction session as usual so that we know who the person,ridin next to u is..and what he is ridin

We ride to Manor(Mumbai-Ahem highway)

Have lunch on our way..bikers do feel hungry u know

Touch the final destination rest for a while and then ride back home..

Points to be highlighted:
1.Helmet is compulsory,for pillions aswell.
2.Bike papers to be in order.
3.Fill in enough petrol to last the entire ride (home- bandra- manor and back home)Hanzy u know what i mean.
4.All possible saftey gears-shoes,gloves,jacket(or else u will get a bad tan like i did list time..its still there)

xBhp! Mumbai G2G Review

Well you guys have waited a long for the log and the pics. So here they are……



9.15:Picked up my girl, met up with Sabby at Mc D (lokhandwala)
and proceeded to wards the meet up point near the airport and waitin for koolsun and the gang.
In the process of the long wait me and Sabby saw many of the guys buzz past us.
Since the gang was late we decided to move out but not before we were joined by willyboy_16.

10.05:Reached reclamation where I was overwhelmed to get such a warm welcome by u guys…all of em had already lined up their bikes before hand.
Parked my bike too got of, and exchanged greetins. After the Pac moved to the closed strip, where we all parked up and were waiting for the rest of the guy.
One by one, slowly and agonizingly they came but with them also came news that ken, ankit and jayesh aint commin a set back early in the morning was not something was looking forward to..
And very sadly others also did not turn up so our volume was down from 32 to jus about 20.
So now since were down a few chips we decided to do a photo shoot (some shooting was already goin on der) so out come the cams and as usual the security fella doesn’t allow but after some coxing he agrees to give us 5 mins so the guys clicked a few snaps…
And then I decided to shake away the blues but doin a few burnouts so first amit tries.
But in vain (had some clutch prob), then koolsun did it, now I couldn’t resist the urge so burned rubber all the time coolvarun goin bizzerk blowing whistles. Now even octane could resist so he too burned rubber on his awesome RD.Now since the security fella was pissing us of we decided to move to Carter roads. On the way we saw a naked CBR 400RR.
He was so overwhelmed by our quantity that instead of us makin way for him it happened the other way round. Parked the bikes near CC Day had a brief introduction session and moved on our way to manor.
U can ask fuzz blaster how our presence was made felt at carters. Rest of the guys went back, some went for the air show.

11.30:Well now we were on our way to manor, as when we touched air port one of the riders had a crash due to a rash cut by a quails…
neways no damages to the bike except the bent clutch lever and bruised to left hand, as soon as we saw this we jus stopped the bike in the middle of the road and helped our guy maverick up, patched him up and moved on.
12.10pm: we enter through dhaisar naka. And then heaven opens up beautiful roads. As soon as we entered we stopped to re group. Now when we were ridin to manor my girl was goin gaga over kunals RD.
So I told her "take a ride on the bike and see for your self".
So she rode on kunals awesome RD.
Now every jus started rippin through.
Sabby even had a close moment on one of the curves when his rear tyre was up on the divider but he displayed awesome bike control and rode it through.

1.00pm: we met Amits family near ghodbunder naka and then moved for manor.
Jus after that Amits zma was givin out some weird noise so parked it and it was diagnosed that the silencer was loose from the engine end. So out come the tool kits and start repairing. At this time I decided to make some vedio.
So explained the things to the guys and we were off makin vedio..
Thx to good camera work by rahuls friends (sorry dude didn’t get his name).
1.45pm:We reached sarovar the place where we had lunch…amit was so turned off when he came to know that it was a veg hotel..Lol
But anyways we had a heavy lunch. I even did a burnout to leave our make at the hotel.
Clicked a few snaps and the and since we were heavy on our stomach we decided to cruise @ 60km/hr.
3.00pm:Now on our way back a few km in a disaster strikes the unthinkable happens kunal on his 180 Dtsi rams into sabby’s bike from the back and BANG both crashed and even slid on the road for a few km in the process getting bad bruises, it was a bloody mess.
The bikes were pretty messed up so were the riders…. gave em some first aid der it self.
Me and my girl scouted for a doctor and found one in manor village…took them der got them bandaged all that took about till 5.30

Amits take on the entire accident:
A bitter lunch:
Vegetarian was primarily never my choice but something is always better than nothing... all us hungry bikers were done with lunch and had a small photo shoot outside the dhaba... and everyone was set to go....
Then suddenly my evil side decided to have a drag with one of its nearest competitor... the p180dtsi...and that could be none other than kunal... everyone had left... kunal and me were waiting for the highway to be clear... gang members had already gone far ahead... we decided on the drag end to be the lonely pole at the end of the road...
We got onto our gears... set our wrist right...made sure the roads are clean... get..set..go... first gear i pull early... till second and third i was leading... he took me on the fourth and kept moving ahead... by the fifth gearshift i was sure i was loosing... there was about 5 meters difference between us... he won the drag but didn’t leave his wrist off the accelerator... overtook two vehicles... one truck...saw the sight of our gang members cruising behind a slow moving truck...
we were at 120+... one member (poor Sabby) who was leading the group right in the front indicated right signal and came on our lane for overtaking the truck... i saw him and slammed my brakes but the same was too late for kunal... bang.

5.45pm:Got moving to as we didn’t not have much day light left with us. And the banged bikes were not in a condition to rip through. So we all were cruising at about 60kmph.
Nighttime riding was kinda awesome and also chilling.

Dropped of Sabby at his place with along rahul who was riding his bike…. hats off to him for riding a pretty banged up bike.

Well guys it was a real blast riding with u guys. Esp felt a closer bond with u guys after the crash happened. All u guys are my bros now.

well ishtiaque i am really understanding about these sort of thing but the issue is that is we change the date for ona person then it will lead to future changes on request of other members due to personal reasons...as u see even coolvarun wants the date to be postponed by one day..guys am really sorry but the date is 17th fixed.
please try and under stand,guys who are havin ramzan fast can jus come down to bandra..its oke if u are not able to ride to manor/vashi
