Chennai-Bangalore G2G @ Hog'kal 11 Dec - pics pg 4
Details for the Intercity G2G
ITINERARY FOR 11-12 DECEMBER 11 DECEMBER From Bangalore 0800 : Meet at the meeting point mentioned in the map above (Silk board flyover) 0830 : Leave for Hoganekal 1030 : We stop in Krishnagiri to join with the chennai group (Krishnagiri is 91kms from Bangalore and 246 kms from Chennai) So assuming that the Chennai grp leaves early (say 0600 or 0630 hrs) and maintains decent average of 50-60 kmph they should meet us by max 11 AM 1130 : We leave to Dharmapuri and reach hoganekal by 1300 hrs 1300 - 1800 hrs: We do whatever we want, coracle ride, swim, explore , eat, whatever!! 1800 : Leave to Dharmapuri 1900 : Leave to Salem 2030 : Reach Salem and find a place to sleep for the night 12 DECEMBER From Salem 0730 : Leave to Yercaud (30kms) 0830 : Reach Yercaud and have brkfast 0900 - 1300: Roam around and see Yercaud 1400 : Have Lunch and leave back to respective cities 2000/2100 : Reach B'lore/Chennai Necessities/Tips for the trip: Carry a bag with ur documents/clothes/etc.,etc Carry warm clothes as we may need some in Yercaud (maybe a sweater/jacket and gloves) B'lore guys fill petrol to take u till Hosur, we can fill the tanks in hosur as petrol is cheaper there Carry your mobiles and chargers.. A simple first aid kit The total estimated expenses (maximum amount) should be around Rs.1400 Assuming: 600 kms of travel Rs.800 Food for two days Rs.150 Stay for one night Rs.100 Coracle ride and misc. Rs.350 Please note the expenses may vary depending on how efficiently we manage  Member list: B'lore: 1. Guyz,
I gave my bike 4 repainting and fitting disk brakes particulay for this G2G (There were many scratches on the tank after an accident). The Yamaha ppl was supposed to give it y'day..now they say its not done!! Then I said that I dont want the repainting n stuff....but that bloody guy is saying that he has given the tank to some vendor, so not possible be4 tomorrow. Now tell me what to do??? After so much shouting and fighting for this G2G, I m without my bike when its goin to happen in reality!! I feel like an asshole. Anyway, there is one 5 speed RX135 of my friend lying idle for the last 3months...l try to get that...i have never driven that, so really have to find out whats the condition. Hope to meet u guys tomorro morning |

i am 99 % not confirmed ...dont count me..i also had a crash yesterday and have to get the bike repaired.

hey aadi, rx135 wud be great, jus do a simple srvicing. Even I was planning to give my bike for getting my chassis checked, it vibrates a lot now, but i got a call in the morning saying tht g2g is morrow!!...hope 2 see u there bro..

Bangalore to krishnagiri from "Chennai -Salem" map above is 103 kms while..in "bangalore to Coim" map context its 90....
mapsofindia aint anywhere near accurate...and someone has copyrighted it as well )but never mind .. great work @sksy
