Guys lets ride down to a sunny place now, went through google and got hooked on ganpatipule.
Ganpatipule, a charming little town along the Konkan coast. But what really sets Ganpatipule apart from the numerous other coastal towns and villages along India’s seashores are the unbelievably beautiful beaches of the place. Ganpatipule is idyllic… sparkling waters against silvery shores; jagged palm fronds framed against magnificent sunsets. This is the spot where you can soak in hours of sun and sea-spray, watch time drift by, wonder at sunrises, marvel at sunsets, drink in the moonlight and dance on the moonbeams. And if you are looking for a spot of action, Ganpatipule is a venue for paragliding. the place is a heven and the ride is great amazing roads.Ganpatipule is 375 km away from Mumbai. so we could either make it a day and back trip or a over night stay what ever you guys decide. i have never been on a g2g and i would need some help so guys who are more expirence plz do step in and help me out. guys this place is a boom trust me. and the guys who missed the malshej can also come.cause i missed it. high on OCTANE.......................................

Drive down the goa highway, turn right at Hathkhamba (10 km before Ratnagiri), travel northwest for 35 km (very good road), and you are at G'pule. 350 km from Mumbai suburbs. MTDC has tented accomodation (Rs 300, twin sharing) next to the beach. Also, a lagoon for canooing, etc. Paragliding is news to me. Not been there for more than a year.

Sorry, was out of town. Not worth it as a one day trip , has to be at least 3-4 days if you want to chill out and relax. Will take min 6 hrs non stop travel, more if you stop. Book in advance if you are going during public holidays etc. Food is somewhat expensive, but good. For every 2 days, one day in the tents is free, but only on weekdays
