Regarding that fall thing , while taking a right turn suddenly a cycle guy came , so i applied the front disc hardly , the wheel got locked up and the bike fell to right side, and leaked some liquid from the Oil cooler part. After inspection i found out that it was the engine oil. Now the Engine oil level is less than the specified, so thought of changing it to Motul mineral oil instead of that shitty top up oil in the PBK.
sry bro i never heared about motul mineral oil.

motul oil list for p220

1. 3000 - mineral oil 15w50 - is sold as "specially designed for twin spark engines" and is different from normal 20w40 3000 oil.
2. 5100 - single ester compound based oil - very much superior to the normal mineral oil and trailing behind the fully synthetics. is available as 15w50 in ramkoti at ratiwal.also this costs in between the mineral and the fully syn.
3. 300v - the big daddy of fully synthetics.also available in 15w50 form in koti. this is a double ester blend and is fully syn unlike the 5100 which is kind of semi syn. also the price of this thing is steep. some of our hyd xbhpians (krishna, etc) used to have some stock of these can's.

but if u ask me,stick to the mineral oil till the run-in.and do change to motul 3000 now,and u'll definately and instantly notice change in the bike's behaviour.and remember u'll have to put in 1150ml,so u'll be needin 2 cans.

for the cover try the hh showrooms or else go to the honda showroom opposite metro.they have it for the uni,so i guess it'll fit the xtreme.. as for the bike storage, drain the petrol tank and engine oil.

But how many kms does the Mineral oil last ? Coz buying two cans isn't a good idea to me coz aanyhow in 2nd service ill change to Motul 5100 , so i guess its waste buying (Correct me if im wrong).

the mineral oil will last for 2k kms and wait till 5000 kms atleast till u switch to synthetics.top up present oil till 500 kms usin motul, use 1.15ltr durin 500kms ~ 2500kms.then get only one can and use till 4500kms along with the remaining oil from the first opened can.guess u'll end up with ~400ml which u can use between 4.5 ~ 5k kms and the finally change to 5100.

Friends, if any of your friends/relatives going to Bombay please let me know. I need to transport an item (karizma rear cowl) to Bombay. I cannot parcel it as it is a delicate item. Also, if anybody is willing to do only. I will transport the item till the bus point and somebody from Bombay will collect it personally. Thanks in advance.

Ravi.
