Well i was coming back from college two days ago at about 11:15am, i was crossing the powerhouse signal from the Kodambakkam bridge going towards Vadapalani. I was travelling at a good 65-70kmph since it was a green signal i kept going without slowing down, slightly keeping to my right as i saw that the commuters to my left were slowly edging forward as they always do, and suddenly out of nowhere this M80 guy on the opposite end takes a U-turn and lands blop-centre on my lane!, i somehow avoided him narrowly by swerving to my left, but i failed to slow down and the bike went out of control and bucked me out of the saddle. I landed on my hands spraining my right thumb, but quickly got back on my feet. I found my bike had crashed up-side down and then had rolled over to it's side, the left side of the tank had been dented badly, handlebars were bent, the left and rear of the tail were also scratched, and the throttle had also wound up so i had to turn it clockwise to accelerate, the bystanders kept saying that i was very lucky that i was able to walk out of this unscathed, probably it looked pretty dramatic from a third person's point of view. But some how i reached home, i felt depressed and angry that i had not avoided this, after much consoling i cooled-off, though i'm still worried on how my bike might turn up, i will be posting pics pretty soon.

@ el loco - sad to here that, commuter have no sence they will see the bike is coming still they cross the road, hope to see ur bike back in few days.
