@Ragav & Aargee:

Could you please come up with alternative destination for G2G breakfast/Dinner meet?

@Deva: I saw Raghav's light set up. That looks cool. Think you should try one such in your machine.

May be you can have the HID (as highbeam) for highways and a 55w Halo (as lowbeam) for city riding.

My suggestion - lets gather during presence of daylight in a spot (Which is yet to be freezed) spend some time to hear things about Ananth Leh trip and related biking stuff, dinner and so on.

@Dinesh - 'bikerfas' what about your solo trip this week? Any updates?

@ deva : Multipost! Please dont use different posts to reply to a gang. Use the @ symbol to refer to someone when you speak. How about B'lore highway? motel highway? Or Bessie dhaba... but it gets boring. So does ECR, but then again, it's everyone's say...

@ aargee: thanks ganesh. hopefully we will get to see and hear the RX. I'll bring along the crampbuster. Tarun tried mine out yesterday, but was not satisfied using it when riding around town. On the highways where you wont need to brake quite often, its a boon

@ Dinesh: when are you doing yelagiri mate? and Leh???

@Deva: This will not affect any thing. Ur ust removing all electricals that consume power and re-directing it to ur H/L. Am paranoid of dead battery in the middle of the night on a highway! So did this.

@Others: We may have to shift our meetup location or atleast take care in the future due to this guys: http://thehindu.com/news/cities/Chen...icle497133.ece .Its better to meet in the early mornings and leave before the crowd gathers!

Deepak, i too had that in mind. Yesterday myself, sriram and raghav went to besant nagar from my place. When checked during that drive, what i infer is the HID provides more visibility @20 feet. I feel much more throw is required when you use high beam option. I dropped that plan.

Awaiting more information to corner on a viable option.

@ deva: as i explained earlier yesterday, the safest bet is going to be what Apar had Suggested to me during the meet, remove the number plate light and pilot. it saves 10 w, if possible you can remove the tail light bulb as well and place it with one fat ultra bright LED. It'll consume max 1 W. You'll be saving close to 12-13 W, with which you can run a 55W bulb without any conversions. No need to add rectifier as well. It's a simple DIY job. your HL will be 55/60 running on AC, without any problems.

@ apar: Sure thing, what about I tow a genset on my bike for some 1000W bulbs Completely legal.

@ sriram : My suggestion being, lets stick to some dhaba in the city. I would opt out of bessie bcoz there are too many posers with the slightest excuse to drive like hell on sunday nights! I'd say lets head to ECR just this once. Or motel Highway if possible. I'd happily suggest Sangeetha at RA puram, but its too comfortably close to my place, i could walk there and parking can be hell for 5-10 odd bikes! Highways are the best for this!

Sorry aargee , Dunno if people would ride to motel highway which is much closer to your place. do make it for this G2G !!
