However, as a senior old fart, I am happy to see that one of the most reliable ( of the guys that I have met so far ) and responsible of the group has stepped forward to take the onus for the weekly G2G's. Good show! Pls pm me your number so that I can call and thank you properly!

Please call on me for any support that my rickety old bones can provide!!
Nobody will will question or point fingers on the forum, however, one cannot stop thinking of the root cause. Correct? Anything that is not gone right would have to be analyzed as to why it went wrong.

If we all going to be a spectator of the above posts again, there is no point calling ourselves a team. Someone has to stand-up and respond!

Nobody here is trying to take control of the weekly meets. It is well discussed and taken due opinion of rest of the gang on the destination.

Irrespective of newbies or senior members on this forum, it would be highly appreciate if they could voice out their thoughts. Usually we used to poll the destination if there are multiple choices.

Having said above, will still initiate ride talks and carry on. It is upto all should my post be ignored or replied.

@All: If confused on the weekly ride details, please call someone to get to know.

@All - Please suggest a good destination for the coming weekend. We may have two or more destinations. On a later part, lets corner for one destination and make it up. Lets enjoy the ride and discuss about the forth coming trip on Aug 14, 15.

@R Ganesh - I was nice to see your RX 100. May be after the run in, i would request you to give me a ride in your RX.

@Sriram - Lets meet up on 31st for your RX rebuild.

guys,

wished to share my thoughts on my first G2G with chennai xbhpians.

I am not so much a tech expert on bikes - i just enjoy riding, and poring over my monthly issue of Overdrive. was very impressed on the gyaan possessed by u guys.

@argee: your 2010 RX100 totally rocks man totally zapped by your passion for your bike.

@Sriram: Thanks for all the group riding gyaan. The hand signals are totally cool . Count me in for horsley please. And, NO I am NOT listening to you again when u ask me to move my parked bike someplace else

@ Ragav: hope i can have an appointment sometime with your bike mech to tune my ride too. Service is already due this week. So maybe next month ?

@ others: gr8 to meet up with u all.
managing g2gs and marital harmony is likely to be a constant challenge going forward

Cheers!
Srinivas

@aargee: looks like what we were talking about yesterday is the day's hot topic.. Thanks for the info on NH1 and a sneak peek into the homebuilt dream.

@yellowspunk : I though I made myself clear when i said, I'm open to other inputs. I posted a plan when no one had one and I take flak for that! I dont think this is any good man. I had never "finalized" anything, I was waiting for inputs, but no one responds nor have i mentioned that i'm organinsing a ride, Hell I Rode as a pillion to the meet man! I really cannot help it when I suggest one plan, No one responds, and then blames/comments why things were chaotic, AFAIK, the plans were clear to at least to those who made it. No offence taken, considering its coming from you. I had said that the vallakottai ride was mainly to talk about the upcoming ride, hence gave priority to that and had suggested that those who are interested may always move on. Sorry I couldnt shoot this as a PM. Problem with my browser. Hope this clarifies things.

@srini: I feel bad for those scratches, Hope you get a replacement from the SVC by hook or mostly crook :P Never got to talk much with you though. We will meet up for the tuning. Hope augustine sees this :O

@ Xinfii: Had already spoken about Gingee mate. There were 2 main problems: Not many were Interested and ambur really caught up because of the food factor involved. Agreed vallakottai has nothing, we rode there just for the heck of it. We never really wanted to do photography there and what we were really interested is in talking about the upcoming trip and about our motorcycles.

@sunil: You could have told us about saturday morning ride! I for one would have given you guys company!

Dont think I'll be coming for g2g's for sometime from now on.

have fun guys!

@All : No one here is to be blamed. Lets stop all these. Lets concentrate on the next ride.. (planning it is)..

@Raghav: Will miss your company in the future rides.

Why not we have a ride in the Chennai - Kolkata highway. I was accidentally on this route yesterday while returning from Avadi. From Puzhal to Moolakadai. The roads we super cool. Very good tarmac. Will enquire to see if there is any good spots out there.

Or even NH-205. Though the roads were small, early morning + less traffic = pleasant riding experience.

All your suggestion are welcome.
