On a more serious note though, do you think that it's ok to order through websites like say '20north.com'? I've been eyeing a pair of knee guards from Icon. A friend of mine has them and they are VERY comfortable and well made. Makes my Cramster Bionics look pre-historic!!

dude... he is not santhosh he is mahesh... i spoke to him on friday when i gave my bike for service. told him the famous accelerator story . Ya even today he helped me with couple of things. He dint replace my battery too saying he checked the battery even my placing upside down it doesnt leak it seems . FYI mine is MF batery. usually my frnd will help me in pick up so only leaving in ABT. No one to pick up in jains.

1. Tada Falls - Its a good place for trek, but to find a decent shade from the place where we parked our bikes it would be minimum 0.5 km. also there was no proper parking for 2 wheelers as far as i know, last i went was a year back.

2. Pulicat Lake - 60+km - I know thats in northside and thats the info i know.

3. Poondi Dam - 60+km from chennai - Again i dont know much information.

probably we can have a poll to decide on the place.

Guyz, having some problem in my mobile sim card due to which i wasn't able to call or send reply messages properly to few of you- kindly excuse me for that.; moreover i have joined in Accenture to give Amit a company that was keeping me busy for some days.

Been there to kona once and its not a big falls and with some walking you can go to falls. good place but very small. im not sure about place to sit.

Hi guys am dencil from chennai, its been a long i posted in Xbhp... And ths is my first post in ths thread. As u guys are discussing abt the destination i'll prefer thada falls, very nice place for trekking its like 4+ km trekking to reach the falls. But make sure there is water in the falls before going... The guards had arranged the parking facility so no need to worry about the bikes.

Pullicat backwaters is also a nice place to spend time ....

Actually I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind joining in for a ride - she likes the occasional ride to Bessie for chai twice a week - but I'm not sure that she or for that matter even I can do a 100+ km ride together. have done a few with my spouse, and its been gr8. would recommend a try.. though obviously works only if she enjoys it too. I find that having her as pillion makes me a much smoother and safer rider than otherwise .

Looks like the Konae falls might be a good place. We can chit chat in the place around the Shiva temple and be back.

People interested in the trek can try out that to.. :P
