@anant : Get in touch with bunny or sunny for more information on leh and ladakh before you plan to do it........ planning to ride from chennai ??? or from delhi ???
plan your route first and then rest will automatically fall in place.......

Varun., Im panning to do it from Delhi.. As usual, transport the bike to Delhi and from there to Chandigarh, Manali & Leh

Sent a PM to Bunny - No response.. If nothing works out, would join up with a orkut Gang (Ladakh Way around) - they have finalized the route, and dates..

If you are seriously planning - we would do it together, i dont mind changing up the dates..

damn... I feel so tempted doing the ride all over again . Bunny, myself, Nitinjit, Chanderjeet, Ishaq and Ravi (all from xbhp) did this last year between Aug 22nd and Aug 31.

What does your schedule look like? Lemme know, will help!

As far now, the schedule is like , a three week holiday in may - june..

so anything around that should be perfect...

And by the way, i was tempted seeing your HX trip log

you'll have one awesome ride...! three weeks is pretty relaxed. We did it in 8-10 days i think. Make sure you include an overnight stay at the pangong. try timing it with a full moon and you're guaranteed with something you've never experienced!

your map also shows a plan beyond khardung, we didn't do it - but have heard it's pretty good as well.

from my experience, see if you can start your ride from Chandigarh or Manali. it's really not that fun riding in the plains when compared to the hills...! We did Delhi - manali in a day (both onward and return) and it was the toughest part of the whole ride

vivek uncle..... you are supossed to be married and committed..... what the hell is happening here..... anyways..... planning to ride again.... i am getting my bike back to square one..... started with all the works..... the HX4 impact is still sticking with it in a lot of aspects........

Oh Thanks! Would plan up from Chandigarh then.. Now the leaves at office has been cut short by another 2 days, so 15-18 days of leave.. think even i should restrict with kardung-la. Would send a PM to sunnny, If the next HX is ON, then i would be happy to ride withe fellow Xmen!
