Posting initial plan as of now.Will update the first post as the picture gets more clear.

Destination:Diveagar beach
Total kms:From Mumbai-217km
From Pune-160km(Approx)
Timing & place of meet: 7.00a.m Panvel McD,7th March

Plan: Mumbai and Pune group start from their respective cities and meet at NH-17 somewhere around Mangaon and then move towards Diveghar by Sai ghaat way.We will stay at Diveghar for the night and make most of the Sunday morning of a long & isolated beach.The group will head back for Mumbai & Pune somewhere around 4.00-4.30p.m.

My plan: I will come straightaway from Ahmednagar.Will cross Pune by 2.00p.m and hopefully reach Goregaon by 4.30-5.00p.m.If people are riding in the morning then I will reach late but if everyone is starting around 2-3p.m then we can ride together as a group.While coming back I will ride with the group as I have to go back to Ahmednagar.

1)License
2)RC
3)Insurance
4)Valid PUC certificate

Basic guidelines:
1) Helmets,gloves,shoes & jacket(riding jacket will be preferred) for both rider & pillion are mandatory.
2) Average speed of the group will be around 80-90 depending upon road conditions.
3) One person will be leading the group while another will be tailing the group.
4) In case of a big group it will be split into two groups depending upon riders preferable riding speeds.

All the best for the ride. May I suggest one small change, that guys coming from Mumbai/Pune should take right at mangao to go by Sai Ghaat way. The roads are 90% perfect, and it saves time as well. Goregaon route is plain boring. Beside, if someone is coming through goregaon, you can always meet up in Mhasala before taking the right in mhasala for Dive Agar.

Fully agree with Animeher. Mangaon-Sai ghat-Ladavali Road is far better. Roads are mostly good. Ghat road is better than Lavasa (you bet) with almost zero traffic. Some patches are bad, but tarring work was in progress in feb 1st week. This road joins Goregaon -Mhasala road at a Police checkpost.
I suggest you guys to find some time to go Dighi jetty. You will get ferries for Janjira fort from there.

What about accomodation..?
I had been to these places way back with my family by car.. Dont even remember the roads properly now.. That's y dont remember bout the accomodation thing..

Are we doing anything for accomodation in advance or will b taken care then n there itself..?

Anup wanted me to post my list of destinations in this thread n wanted MG to put it on the first page..But as the destination is fixed now, I dont see any need of that list right now..or is it? I may post it for some other ride some other time.. What's ur call MG bhai?

Can we have atleast a temporary list of riders ready for this ride?
