Thumbs up The Third Bhopal Offline Meet(G2G)

Very soon after our second G2G in Bhopal, City of Lakes, we came up with The Third G2G all in a jiffy, with no plans, no second thoughts, in so much hurry that once it came to the stage of getting cancelled and postponed but then again it was God's wish or to say the bikers were steadfast enough for the G2G that made the once cancelled G2G bring back to execution. And there were we burning the roads all over again. Xbhpians from Bhopal were unknown to the rest of the country until we had our first G2G with a small crowd of mere 7 bikers and then we made a pompous comeback with 25+ bikers in our second G2G and over 20 bikes which was appreciated by many Xbhpians because it was a big crowd coming together for a G2G in a city like Bhopal and the way the crowd rode around in formation without disturbing the other road users or creating any kind of nuisance; And that was the motto we started our second G2G with - "fast but safe riding" . At the end of the day we were successful at sowing the seed of safe riding.

Now our new motive was to make riding - a safe thing to do especially in small cities like Bhopal. Right after the second G2G all sorts of ideas were coming to make the next G2G more "safety riding" oriented and so the days went by and everything cooled down..... almost(may be because midterm exams were going on, though it never seemed to have affected our daily routine much). And then suddenly one day Ronak's bulb lit and he proposed a small G2G with a small crowd to participate as we wanted to keep troubles at bay because it was going to be a speed run. The devil in us wanted to come out in an angel's disguise. So we wanted to take the speedrun to the highways outside the city where nobody gets disturbed by our "speedrun".

As they say - What goes around comes all the way back around - we were again a bunch of 13 bikers on 11 bikes, again a not so big crowd as compared to our previous G2G but with a longer and faster mileage which later went into being called as a mini tour or a mini G2G as many people said.

All of us gathered at the Hotel Imperial Sabre roundel at around 4:00 pm inside Bhopal city from where we started for the highways away from the city. Thirty five Kms from there and we were where we wanted to be, the final meeting point at Hotel Crescent.

We were joined by another biker Mr Vinod Isac who was on his way to Indore, 200 kms from Bhopal. He introduced himself and told us that he was impressed by our group of Xbhpians and that he was a regular tourer. It was then that he came to know of Xbhp. It was a pleasure to meet a gentleman biker who was very conscious about safety as he was well equipped with safety gears for his head and hands alongwith a riding jacket but it was sad that neither the people know much about such experienced riders nor such riders know the people to share their exxperience with.

We had a small stunt session followed by a good drag session the details of which I'm not gonna write here. You have to see it for yourself in the pics and videos uploaded here.

We ended the day by cruising back to the city at around 8:00 pm with a small halt in between for fag and chai where a constable jokingly said to us, "Yeh racing vacing bandh karo" after looking at those many bikes parked together.

Happy and safe riding.
Xbhp Bhopal.

nice pics guys but why just one pic of the busa?? we need more...

@ronak- ya man i have ridden many sbk's but seeing one in bhopal is quite rare as you dont get to see them everywhere like in delhi nd other metro cities. The adrenaline rush that comes when you ride a superbike is amazing...............well it will when you have all the power on your wrist......nevertheless, i am looking forward to the next g2g.
