Default xBhp Talk 3 : Dr. Arun Thareja on his profession and motorcycling

'Doc' is how he's addressed to by the members of the GODS (Group Of Delhi Superbikers), a group that he founded quite a few years ago. An actively practicing ENT surgeon, Dr. Theraja is a thorough motorcyclist at heart. For someone who began riding in the late 80's, starting with the famed RD-350, technology might have changed by generations but the thrill of power and speed still hold him tight. Here, he describes how a studious medical student and later a practioner became an avid motorcyclist for life.

Gray-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

Default Very good talk!

Dear Doc, thanks for that wonderful speech. You spoke from your heart!

Glad to note that you heal people and motorcycling heals you. Most of all, I like it how you expressed that one should respect the machine and not abuse them. Can't thank you enough.

And Sunny, bro, hats off to you for making all this possible. I have been a silent spectator of your website, ever since 2002, when you started the bajajpulsar forum.... I still vividly remember, how there was a pic of you on a pulsar, what a quote saying "wanna race with me at 126 kmph?" or something on those lines. You have come a long way since then I can see. Good luck in all other ventures you have in mind, and my best wishes for you in changing the indian motorcycling scene with respect to enhancing safety and riding etiquette.

Cheers!
