Updated R125 due this week - Motorcycle news: New bikes - Visordown

    They say:
YAMAHA will this week announce an updated version of its YZF-R125 sports bike, with new styling, suspension, brakes and wheels.
The popular learner model is expected to get lighter wheels, upside-down forks and a new front brake disc with radially-mounted caliper.
Styling will be revised to more closely resemble the bigger R6, with a new air-duct in the fairing nose between the headlights.
The frame and engine have not been changed.
Official details are due to be announced on Friday morning.

Any updates on this new R125? As per the link above, it should be announced today.

The bike now gets upside-down front forks and a redesigned triple clamp. Yamaha says the new front suspension ensures better stability and improved front wheel feedback. It also has a redesigned rear suspension linkage system.

The instrumentation also gets a fresh look. The backlit LCD dash unit features a digital speedo and tach, and a multi-function display on the left shows engine temperature, maximum speed, average speed and fuel consumption data.
The new dash also includes a clock, fuel/reserve indicator and a distance and fuel trip.
Alongside the other changes, the bike is fitted with an all-new carbon-look front fender, a reshaped muffler and a more compact licence plate holder. The rear brake pedal, shift lever and passenger footrest brackets are made from aluminium and theres also a new tail light with a built in guide light.

The website is from the UK (About Visordown). I don't think that they are launching this in India, although i too was excited at the prospect of seeing a good 125cc being launched in India.

I somehow think that the new R15 V3 would look like this. Well, if its true, then it would be killer. But it's gonna shoot up the pricing like anything. Fingers crosssed.

Ya, that's true. Prices would definitely go up.
But I for one would surely buy one if it means I get a product worth the money.

BTW, love your signature line 'Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby."
