Actually the D200 lookalike is good in a way that posers would stay away from this monster thus preventing their lidless heads from getting crashed [given its paranormal power to weight that the idiots could never handle without crashing].

KTM claims fuel economy of just 3.4L/100km which should be good for a range of about 300 km, which is more than enough for this style of street bike. Its light weight makes it very easy to flick around in traffic or through a tight set of corners.

That is all I needed to know!

BTW why does he keep saying quality suspension parts? All other reviews say that these are "low grade or basic" suspension with just the WP label slapped on.. anyway cant wait!

The next big revolution if you will, i.e. post the ZMA/P220/R15 (discounting the Ninja's & Hyosung's for their prohibitively high pricing and the CBR for its very minor jump in performance over existing crop of bikes) era 5 years ago that upped the performance biking scene in India up by quite a few notches!
Totally agree with you bro! Us P220 people have no real upgrade till this baby comes along..

Will the Duke 390 beat the 2 stroke twin cylinder Rd-350 in terms of power???
Many claim Duke to win over Rd-350.

0-100kmph in 5 secs? :O That seriously scares me and excites me at the same time! Forget about roll-on acceleration (which will obiviously be mind blowing), people will have to think twice before doing WOT on that bike! And 100kmph @ 5000 rpm on 6th gear? That'll surely help in low fuel consumption and yet have a blissful ride on highways! So by doing a simple cross multiplication, it should do 210kmph on speedo. Ok I agree that's too high for that naked rocket! Is it safe to expect a top whack of 170-180kmph on speedo? And I have one more curious question. How is the powerband of Duke 390? Is it more low-mid range oriented or peaky powerband like Duke 200, Ninja, R15 etc? I personally fancy the latter.

Price is the concern. I would love to buy it. Though im still not quite happy with the Duke 200s gearbox. Though riding everyday is fun...ill love to own a 390. Waiting when it will hit the local showrooms.

i hope baja-KTM prices it close to 2.5lks on-road...forget vfm...this bike requires respect while riding...
in the wrong hands it will prove to be fatal...even D200 goes out of hand sometimes...

will it be ultra short-geared like D200..??

Exactly. As said, this proves to be fatal if ridden by ones who are not much experienced in to Biking.
Coming to gearing, i hope it wont be short geared.
