    Default Avenger 220 cruise 1 year ownership review

    Hi brothers...

    So you guys know I own Bajaj Avenger 220 cruise, today i would give my owner ship review on this bike. Its been an year and bike has run 11000+kms.

    So would not go in technical specs as you guys can get those by googling it, I would mostly keep it my on personal experience and request you to please go and take a test drive personally taste changes person to person !

    So, in starting till around 500 -600kms i took to understand the bike performance in different places and occasions like in city traffic, highways till first service i drove at a speed within 60kms till vehicle completed 2000kms so that engine gets tuned according to me !

    Since January 2019 i started taking it on highways and I was impressed with the speed it has in its segment and comfort level is unmatched, in a year i never had any disappointment on my bike performed all well. I would point out pros and cons for better understanding :

    Pros :
    * Comfort
    *Low maintenance cost
    * Fuel efficient
    * Easy spares availability
    *Light weight

    Cons :
    * Hard seat
    *Vibrations at speeds post 100kmph (being single cylinder )

    Speaking in details on pros I felt that the bike was comfortable for me in city and highways suspensions works well on highways and average on bad offroads, but still you will not be disappointed on offroads as well on confort, there will be lack of grip on offroad being street tyres still one can change it to button type n enjoy off roads. Spare parts and maintenance of the bike was pretty much cheap when compared to other brand bikes which is pocket friendly ! Being low engine cc is fuel efficient as well, spares are easy to get at any automobile vendors. Being light weight bike its easy to filter in neck to neck traffic.

    Speaking on cons I felt seats could be much more softer. Being single cylinder bike you will feels vibrations once you cross speeds of 100kmph, but still it can do upto 125kmph and maintain the speeds of 110 -120kmph on super smooth highways ....

    Speaking about what you get withe bike : depends on dealer to dealer, like i stay in hyderabad here sri vinayaka autobile is famous for bajaj bikes I bought it fully fitted bike ( foot rests, rear tyre grill , wind shield, rear back rest.) The available models are as listed

    *Avenger 220 cruise (absmodel available)- with wind shield and rear rest

    * Avenger 220 street(abs model available) - without windshield and back rest

    * Avenger 180 street (abs model available) - no wind shield , no back rest , no oil cooling unit !

    Hope this information may help you guys and i rewuest you to go and take a test drive of it and the select !

    Have a nice day !!
