    The 'sitting' posture on a motorcycle is a compromise between either loading up the back or loading up the wrists. And this 'loading' is defined more by the relative position of the foot-pegs than the distance between the handlebar and the seat.     I guess I am a trifle late with my inputs about motorcycle geometry but then seeing the kind of confusion prevailing on this thread, I believe this post is justified.
