  1. DIY Tire Maintenance

    by , 07-22-2014 at 03:12 PM
For fully loaded or dual-riding touring-motorcycle applications, inflate tires to the maximum pressure recommended by the motorcycle manufacturer. And never exceed maximum load capacity indicated on the tires sidewall or the motorcycles capacity load found in the owners manual. A good rule of thumb is to use whichever maximum load recommendation is lower if the manual or tire sidewalls have different max capacities.

Underinflated tires can result in imprecise cornering, ...

The heat was unbearable, I had stopped my motorcycle under a tree and walked towards the buttermilk vendor. He poured me a glass of buttermilk and I downed the concoction in one massive gulp and motioned for a refill, the coolness of the drink in the unrelenting heat of the midday sun was refreshing. I lit a cigarette and used my balaclava to wipe the sweat off my brow, the vendor passed me the glass, I sat on the sidewalk, smoking and sipping from the glass.

  3. Fojan

I have had a rough few months, I have made too many mistakes to make right and I have learnt but little. Every once in awhile a slight light shines through all the dark, sometimes that very light is nothing but the glow of embers waiting to be brought back into a blaze.
Fojan was my light. The first time I laid eyes on her, I knew she was not ordinary, she was not what people would call conventionally good looking but she always made heads turn. I ran my hands across her and knew that ...

I heard my phone ring, the dial on my watch showed 5:23 AM, I was already late, trying to regain my bearings as I made my way to the bathroom and shaking myself out of sleep. As the cold water hit my face, my grogginess disappeared. I looked around and saw the green glow of the batteries charging. I picked up the camera bag and checked if all the equipment was packed, I threw the batteries in with the rest of it. I put on my riding gear and picked my keys, Fojan was waiting for me.
  5. Don't date a Biker

We will never love you the way we love our motorcycles.
We are dirty, greasy, disgusting and will devour anything including a day old sandwich that smells funny when we have hunger pangs.
We smell like engine oil and burnt rubber
We always have black muck under our nails
We have scars and we are proud of them
Look but don't touch, that includes that tattered jacket we refuse to throw out
Get used to waking up in the middle of the night with ...
