Default Post your favorite war movies.

Here are some of mine ... in no particular order.

    K-19: The Widow Maker.
    Saving Private Ryan.
    U-571.
    Hunt for the Red October.
    The Great Escape.
    Crimson Tide.

A lot can be learnt from these movies. Honour, courage, sacrifice. Qualities which are fast fading in todays world.

The Pianist -> Struggle of a Polish Jewish musician to survive the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto of World War II. It's based on a true story.

Life is Beautiful -> It's actually n italian movie "Vita bella, La"...it's a story of how a jewish man protects his son in a Nazi death camp.

    And not to forget...Schindler's List.
