Please forgive me if I am sending back to back post as I am on taptalk and I really don't know whether my previous post was successfully sent. I own a racing white and blue Yamaha R15 and I really don't Like the black lower fairing of the it. So I decided to change it into black. Since the bike is new and the lower faring is scratch less, do I really have to sand down the existing black paint and apply primer and then the white paint coat? Or is it enough to directly spray the white coat and then the clear coat? Please help me out.

You need to sand them first mate. You atleast need to remove the clear coat for the new paint to stick on.

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.

How to get good results by painting in BRUSH ?
I painted my Bicycle and my scooter (Kinetic Honda) with brush but had spots on paint and a non glossy, coarse finish.

Dear xbhipans, I wanted to know that can I repaint my discover 125 to dark green paint? Its only 1.5 years old but I dont like its stock paint. Its red. I wanted to know is this possible? If yes can it give the bike a metallic finish? Will it look good? I want to give my bike a new look. I want to paint my bike to something like - thishttps://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachments/sam-barris-1949-mercury10-jpg.3289901/

I guess its the layers of Clear Coats that make the mirror like finish.
