Icon12 CBR250R HandleBar Modification for Touring

    Hello Xbhpians,

This is my very first article on this awesome website. I am not much of a writer so I am going to share what I had done on my bike so it can help other Honda CBR owners to perform this mod.

I had recently owned 350cl but due to its lack of speed and vibrations I had to part off with it and buy a much quicker one with reasonable budget in hand. Ended up buying second hand cbr250r and I absolutely in love with it.

Since I am looking forward to go on touring with it, one of the major downside I faced was with its clip-on handlebar which created lot of strain in my wrist and shoulder. The fact I wasn’t much of a frequent rider created a challenge to get used to the ergonomics of this bike.

After watching many youtube videos I found one youtuber (IronHolik)who had performed the handle bar swap and I ventured out to go ahead and do the same.
And I swear the result of the sitting posture is awesome. You now sit more upright and do not strain your wrist and there is no vibration even at 130 speed.

Below are some pics which can guide those who want to do the swap. Enjoy
