    Can you be a bit detail. Like the other modds with the 170CC bore?

    Like Porting, Cam, Exhaust Etc and also we know the Fact RTR's are Vibey in nature and how is yours after the modds and no doubt about the performance indeed.

    Coz I have an Apache 150.

    I dont have much technical knowledge so I will speak in layman terms.
    The engine became very smooth. Little vibes(you need to concentrate on it to feel it) are there but not as much as it was before big bore kit. Didnt tested the bike for top speed. I had completed the run-in last week only. During run-in period I kept my bike below 6k rpm ( max speed of 80 ), driving more in a range of 60 to 70kmph.
    My bike used to go around 85kms in reserve, after BB kit it reached 110kms first time and 105kms next time( with a mileage of 47kmpl, and that too from a 190cc engine, and that two from a 2yrs and 30k kms old bike ).
    After servicing the service guys have tampered the air/fuel mixture setting, so will be going to Joel's tomorrow.

    ok so i cant use 190 cc kit on 160 rtr . what about my question on all parts needed to be changed for 160 rtr 180 .

    bore n piston [2200rs] , tci unit [800rs ] , crankshaft [??] , upjet the carb /get new one , also exhaust but exhaust i have sourced from someone who bought a ffe . what else needed and any idea on prices of these parts to make bike rtr 180

    I don't encourage this, coz end of the day you will be paying more for the performance you gain, when compared to others.

    Just move on to Joel's 170CC and his other stuff. coz RTR are rock solid when compared to other bikes. You can be more confident on modding than any others.

    If you are very much interested, then I will get you the parts list soon.

    thats why i need a exact part list with price to see the difference . i would be very grateful if u can tell me the partlist needed to make 160 to 180.

    Hey, I just found this Service Manual and it differentiates between RTR 160 and 180 in every aspect.

    Note down the Parts and collect the Pricing at the nearest TVS showroom, coz all Manufacturers have raised their spares prices this year.

    harish read the file but didnt understand it fully .

    btw i read that its possible to change stock rtr 160 to 180 by changing
    crankshaft with con rod rs 3000
    rtr 180 tci - rs 700
    no need of new bore piston
    29 mm carb = 2300
    info from zen tvs bangalore i think .
    i would like the enlightened ones to throw some xenon light on this .
