Apologies for the long absence and thanks for all the insight, bro!!

I'm sorry if I did not make myself clear when I said that I was looking for information, not actually mod the engine myself. I just did not want to be fooled by the mechanic. I'm less than a novice when it comes to the getting down and dirty phase and most of my time have been spent riding. Hence, pls pardon my ignorance.

We felt that the stock reliability is lot more worthy than the anticipated gain in power and decided to drop any modding plans.!

Wise decision. Fiddling with the engine without proper knowledge is an invitation to misfortune. Leaving it to a mechanic is even worse.

That's gotta be the best line I've ever read recently.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END
