Default Helmet Fogs up - How to avoid

Hi bros,I need a urgent help from you all for my probe with my life saver mate (HELMET)The probe is now a days due to rainy season, it sometime trying to turn out to be my life taker instead of life saver.During my ride in rainy times or in low temp, my breath-out air that is hotter than the environment's temp, become as FOGGY layer in my HELMET's windshield in inner side.So my entire vision gets blanked like complete opaque for 2-3 secs.Whatever my location may be, either highways or city ride during rain, its too dangerous to continue with same blinded vision or stop my bike instantly.I cant open my helmet's windshield and ride as I wear a specs (has higher power where I cant ride or walk without it) and if that gets wet then I cant ride my bike till I dry it properly. So suggest me the safer n effective solution to handle my helmet in this situation.I cant just stop my bike n wait till rain stops as this is rainy season I had to wait for full day only if I do it.I need your solutions or suggestion that I can do to continue my ride in rains with my helmet on.Thanks in advance,Hemanth

For the fogging from inside, there is no help mate. Maybe you can just open up the helmet's visor one notch (by a few centimeters/one step) so that fog/mist doesn't build up.
For the outside, you can use :
    1. Paper napkins - requires frequent stopping and cleaning, keeps the visor scratch free.
    2. Tobacco/cigarettes - rub the tobacco on the visor and say bye bye to water droplets. Needs to be done once in a day. May cause small scratches over prolonged use and of course if would smell like a ciggy too.

For the fogging the only thing close to a solution is what @Divya Sharan suggested, keep the helmet visor open just by a cm or so

@Divya Sharan is right. I have a LS2 helmet and i too use the same strategy and it works. No worries on water seeping into the helmet. This solution attended heaviest rains in Pune with ease.

I too face the same problem frequently and more so because of the balaclava which causes even more fogging.

    What I have learnt is,

    1. Like Divya said, keep it a little open but it can also be ineffective at times.

    2. Rub cigarettes/potates to reduce fogging. I tried potato but it didnt help much.

    3. Buy an anti fog spray Not sure how much it costs, should be available online (please do the search).

    4. Helmets like HJC come with antifog visors, which are visors treated with chemicals to avoid fogging. The effectiveness of this can degrade with time due to frequent cleaning/washing of visor, since the chemicals can come off.

I am planning to try the potato option again and see if it helps

I am sure using a balaclava won't help, tht would just increase the humidity/temperature inside and make it easier for the fogging to take place, especially when its cooler outside.
