Arrow How many kms does your full tank last?

I was curious to know which bike would have the longest range. A reddit thread of top 10 such bikes got me interested. My RTR would figure in 4th best bike there (none of the Indian bikes figured)! Could not find a similar discussion on Indian bikes. Hence, this thread.

The data would be important for tourers as well. So go on, give me the 4 data points which can benefit many others.

    A] Bike year:
    B] Bike name:
C] Fuel Capacity (as per the petrol pump, so, overfueling to be considered):
D] Kms on full tank (you may know full tank to reserve, and assume a safe range in reserve):

I plan to compile this database and update it below.

Make Bike Range (kms) Usable Tank (l) Mileage (km/l) Comments
    Mahindra Mojo 675 20 34 speed 95
    Hero Karizma R 625 13 48 speed 85
    TVS RTR 160 600 15 40 speed 80
    TVS RTR 180 570 15 38 speed 95
    Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 550 18 31 speed 80
    Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi 500 18 28
    Kawasaki Ninja 250R 500 17 29 speed 105
    Honda CBR 250 500 10 50 speed 70
    Yamaha R15 475 12 40 speed 75
    Yamaha FZ-16 450 11 41 speed 70
    Honda CB Twister 420 8 53 speed 70
    KTM Duke 390 310 9.5 33 speed 100
    Triumph Street Twin 260 10 26
    Triumph Street Triple 250 14 18

    TIA

    GBD Approved

    2009
    Pulsar 220 DTSI
17-20 litres depending on how much petrol is being stolen by the pump
    500km. From full to empty!

EDIT: Noticed there is a comment section as well WOT on the trot!!! I once rode along with an RE at 70-80kmph, other than almost sleeping off due to boredom and dying, i got around 45kmpl!

Mahindra Mojo - 20 liters, 650-700 km easily if ridden under triple digits.
Karizma ZMR - 15.5 liters (roughly 13 liters usable), 600-630 km if ridden between 80-90 kmph.
Yamaha R15 - 12 liters usable (not exactly sure), 400-450 km if ridden under 100 kmph.
    Ninja 250R - 17 liters, ~500 km if ridden under 100-110 kmph.

P.S - no WOTs, no jerks, only linear throttling involved.

    Bike year: 2016
Bike name: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350
    Fuel Capacity: ~18 litres
Kms on full tank: 500-600 kms
Speed: 70-90kmph. Anything more than 95kmph will see a steap fall in fuel efficiency.

    KTM Duke 390

    Kms - 6,500 km
    Tank capacity - 11, Usable 9.5 I think,
    Tank range -
1). With windscreen (Which is a must have)- 270-280 kms,
    2). Without windscreen- 300-320 kms.
    RPM - Under 5.5k,
    Speed - < 100 kmph.

Note: The above data is considering optimum fuel quality and on highways. If fuel quality is below par and ride is within city, the range might drop to 250 km. (With windscreen)

    Honda CB Twister[2011]

    Tank - 8 litres[~6.5 till reserve, usable till empty... I think? :P ]
    Range - 420km to empty
Speeds - 60-80kmph, not WOT in 4th gear, but WOT in gear 1,2 and 3.
    Mileage - ~53kmpl

    TVS Apache RTR180ABS[2012]

    Tank - 16, refuel when 1l left.
    Range - 570km to ~1 litre left.
Speeds - 80-110kmph, WOT, no sudden braking
    Mileage - ~38kmpl

Both the figures above are of a highway scenario. City figures are not confirmed as I always got different mileages.
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

    Rides : Honda CB Twister(Feb 2011 - Present) | TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS(Sept 2012 - May 2016) | Honda CBR250R C-ABS Repsol(March 2017 - Present)
