    Default What is Exhaustec?

    Hi all,

First with Discover and now with new Pulsar Bajaj has come up with a Patent Pending tech Torque Expansion Chamber (Or Exhaustec)

    My question is:
What extactly is this "Torque Expansion Chamber"?
How does it improves low end toque?
And what is negative side of this "Torque Expansion Chamber"?

    Regards

However, thanks to a new device Bajaj is patenting ExhausTEC , the Discover makes more than 1 kgm all the way from 3500 to 6000 rpm most of the competition doesn't make that much torque at all. The result is the ability to open throttle and find useable power, in any gear and at any engine speed.

The bike also uses a new technology Bajaj is in process of patenting called ExhausTEC which would give the bike a torque of 1 kgm through a long range of RPM allowing the users to get the big burst of sudden powers to overtake easily on cluttered roads.

it's all bull****.... RX100 produces 1.25 kg of torque compared to 1.55 kg of pulsar.... RX has no such stuff like exhaustec and all... maybe it's diff for 2 strokes.
