Default Safexbikes: worth it or not?

    Guys and gals,

Each time I search for a part online, Safexbikes seem to come up in the results. And they do seem to have a ton of stuff that is hard to get from anywhere else. But just wanted to ask the experience of fellow bikers. I have the following questions:

    1) How long do the deliveries take, on average?
    2) How good are the fibre parts that they deliver?
    3) Can they be trusted with costly parts such as Cylinder Kit, Starter Assembly, Carburettor, Chain Sprocket kit etc.?
    4) How would you rate the parts made by Zadon and other manufacturers they showcase? Especially the high-end parts?
    5) Have you ever had fitting issues with the parts they have delivered?
    6) Does a part come with all necessary nuts, bolts, washers and other paraphernalia?
    7) They advertise some parts as OE. Are they really OE?

Answers to any or all of these questions would be extremely helpful.

    Thanks,
    Soumyajit

I ordered some stickers for my karizma r
    they were good in quality.

It took around 10 days for delivery.

Zadon is not OE ,I ordered a mudguard for my karizma ,it did not fitted properly
mechanic had to rub the plastic with an axe to cut off some portion near the place nut is fitted
    to make it fit.

It usally depends on the part you are ordering.
    They have 2 problems
    first is pre payment
second is they show everthing in stock regardless of the fact it is available or not.

You have to wait a lot for a refund, and remind them numerous time for your refund.

    It would suggest thesparescompany.com
    they are excellent and trustworthy
    and most important it as
    Cash On Delivery Facility.

By the way what part are you looking for?

Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback. Was initially planning to order Yamaha Enticer Gearbox but it was not there. And now that you have described that the money back process is riddled with problems, I am happy I did not order such a costly object from there. Ended up buying a good quality used one from Nana Peth area in Pune.

Currently was planning to order the OE handlebar for 365 and clutch cable assembly for 210. The local shop is asking 550 for the handlebar so I thought I would save some money. But with GST and everything, it is coming up to 711 whereas at the local shop total thing is costing (550+210) 760 with instant delivery. So may not be a good idea.

I checked out thesparescompany.com but finding it a bit difficult to identify the parts because they use the part number concept.

Currently, I need the whole body kit, apart from the fuel tank. Safexbikes is asking for 9000. I cannot pay that much right now after the whole engine restoration I would be over to moon to get a used maroon Enticer to get the body from or the kit at a lesser price

    Thanks,
    Soumyajit

Question Re: Safexbikes: worth it or not?

I was considering the option of buying some new carb jets. I am thinking of down-jetting for high altitude.

But will the jets be of actual size as specified? Are they OEM?

    Need help.
