Yeah man, these are the kinda bikes we need. Not the fiber bodied things we have to take care if rather than have fun with.

Hi, nice to see some company, I too have booked the Xpulse 200. The bikes are already available in showrooms for TD, I did a short TD and was impressed by the handling and suspension. It looks perfect as an affordable hobby off-roading machine though I think it should have some with some more power as I think it will run out of grunt on highways.
The dealer said the bikes should start coming to showroom in another week or so.

Great news...Can you please help with following Qs:

    1. Which city you are in. In Bangalore, I was told XPulse 200 has not arrived yet for TD.
    2. Have you been told anything around on-road price

Personally, I feel 90 Kph is good enough for highways, to ensure you reach your destination on time and safely.
Reviews mention that sweet spot is around 90 Kph. So, I reckon that should be good enough. I understand it may seem slow, especially for those who have been used to high speed motorcycles capable of hitting 140+ Kph and cruising all day long at 120+ Kph. But, when you are riding at such high speeds, you may miss the diversions to off road trails. Anyways you cannot take your expensive motorcycles to such trails either. Also, let us not forget that we all started our touring on motorcycles with around similar power like Pulsars, Avengers, Karizmas, R15s etc.

It has arrived in few showrooms, ask around

    I know ex-showroom is ~1L

It can certainly go to 90kmph but keeping it there for sometime the engine would feel strained IMO and it looks lightly built so long rides with a pillion with luggage might not be it's cup of tea

When you say it has arrived..are you referring to Bangalore.
I understand it's stressful to keep a machine rolling at same speed. But I guess, hovering around 80 - 90 Kph should do the job.
According to me, they could have made it more light, like Impulse, somewhere around 140 kilos. More light means more fun.

Forgive me for not posting this question in the proper thread. However, i dont know if you guys n gals have noticed a huge frame cut out made on the Xpulse 200 to ensure proper installation of the exhaust pipe. To my knowledge that design feature is present in the Xtreme series too. Looking at that jugaad just to get the engine in that frame is rather alarming when you factor in that Xpulse 200 is made to hit the trails, do jumps and sometimes even take a fall.
Please guys enlighten me on this.
