Default Long ride on a scooter

Hi guys, I am new on this forum. I am a travel enthusiast but I only have a scooter. I want to go on a long ride of say 500-600 km (to and fro). Is it possible? If it is, please provide me with suggestions and things that I should keep in mind.
    Vehicle: TVS Jupiter ZX (2018).

yes, it is possible to do long trips on a scooter like Jupiter.

I see two main hurdles in long trip on a scooter.

    1. Tiny Fuel tank : Make sure you plan the fuel consumption owing to the small tank size. As a precaution, take extra petrol in a 2 liter cold drink bottle. Plan your route and know the distance between petrol pumps, If you feel that there is no petrol station for the next 300 kms, fill the scooter up to brim and take as much extra in bottles, so that you don't get stranded.

    2. Small engine : The gearless scooters generally have weaker engine than same CC bike engines. The bike engines are exposed to air for cooling, whereas scooter engines are enclosed inside the body. so take regular breaks to give the engine a chance to cool down and rest. Use that time to have to drink and re-hydrate yourself, tighten up ropes and cords of the luggage, call your family to update them of your progress etc.

Everything is up to you and your will power to finish the journey.

I completely agree to the points mentioned above. I would like to add a few more points that in my opinion/experience will be a problem.

    1. Comfort on the scooter. The seating position on a scooter takes a toll on the lower back of a person over long rides. I'm not saying that a bikes seating position does not have this affect, it does but on a scooter you will feel the back pain early as compared to a bike( not considering the like of R15)

    2. Scooters are inheritanly more unstable as compared to a bike due to there smaller wheels so pot holes or rough road patches on highways will upset the scooter very easily, combine that with the rains and the problem worsens.

It is possible, just take regular breaks like someone mentioned above and keep extra fuel for emergency, I'd recommend 5L extra fuel.

You realize that most scooters have fuel tanks that are 5L in capacity, not so practical to carry around an extra tank or fuel around.

I have done 200km+ ride on a 2013 tvs wego. I had noticed that the scooter shuts off after continously riding at 65-80 kph for some 30 min. It was due to heating and there was no problem after the motor was cool. Earlier models from tvs (2010-2013) had many issues but seems that tvs has sorted them out. TVS scooters are way more comfortable than other brands, especially that rear gascharged shock works beautifully.

Maintain a speed of 60-65 kph and carry some extra fuel just in case of emergency.
