    Thumbs up Iron Black color for bike?

    hi everybody, i've my Yamaha RX 100 wants to modify it. i m going to paint my bike. i m planning to paint it with Iron Black color. i saw this color on a Harley Davidson bike (pic link posted below). is it Iron black color? how can i get the same color shade?

    I think that color is called gunmetal black, take a picture of the bike with you and go to any local bike painting shop and show it to them, they will most probably be able to do it

    Its black with a matte finish.
    Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

    Keep in mind that matt black is very low in terms of durability. Most of the painters recommend using a clear coat over the matt black. There are special clear coats available for matt paints which don't give a glossy look, ask for flat top coats.

    Even if you paint matt without a clear coat it will become shiny over time, especially around the tank where your thighs rub against the tank. Matt is also susceptible to gasoline and chemical cleaners.

    i'll try with flat top coats for matt paint.

    i m thinking of changing my RX 100 look, so it'll look more sporty. is it good to change it to alloy wheels ?

    There are paint mixing shops which can scan the color of the item and mix various colors to produce the same color. I think even Nerolac brand shops will do the same.
    This is how local workshops get the same color when they touch(paint only damaged parts) parts of a car.

    that idea came to my mind but i think clear coat will give the desired effect.

    Its carbon black with clear coat.
    I got exactly the same color for my RE Thunderbird.
