For your next sprocket kit i would advice you to go for diamond. Cbr 150 although has open chain but the chain is non o-ring. Most of the new bikes from Honda like shine, stunner and cbr 150 chain set is lasting very less. Most of the shines and stunner requires chain set replacement at 10-15k and our stunner also is asking for replacement at 14k kms. I have bought a Diamond kit and will change this time.

Regarding life of chain sprocket then it cannot be said but in my Joy the chain kit last very long. In this 3.2 lacs km the chain kits changes are:-
    1. OE- that came with bike lasted for 55k km.
    2. Diamond xtron(this model was stopped)- Lasted for 65k
    3. Oe kit- lasted for 50k
    4. Diamond - lasted for 60k
    5. Diamond- Is still going strong at 95k and still is having less up and down movement less than my extreme chain kit. At last i think i will change it by getting bored.

Your chain got damaged earlier because of high revving. High revving is not the culprit but chain got damaged due to mechanical shocks. So repeated revving and pulling and then braking induces too much stress on chain. Travel all day long at 10k rpm and chain will have no effect but rip it in each gear in city and chain will last way less.

    That's a good insight!
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

Any Hero or Honda Authorized Service and Spares dealer will have enough stock of these. Don't buy at local shops if you are not sure of brand or package quality for your bike. Better still you can go to service center and ask to change to oring chain+sprockets. They will charge you nominal to fix it.

Remember, if they say they won't do it unless you leave for service or ask hefty labor cost. Tell them you want to talk to the service in charge head and talk to him about it.
There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.
