I don't know if this helps but happens with our brand new Ray Z too, the service says it's normal. Happens with brand new Honda Grazia as well. It seems its a common issue with scooters.

Get the rectifier cdi checked at a electrical mechanic shop or test it yourself using a volt meter.. have the air filter also inspected and also check the carb for any blockage or leakage get it retuned if spark plug color are in black soot. After retuning it should be light grey..

I am also facing same issue with my brand new Yamaha Ray Z(bought July 2019) - Whenever I start vehicle after a long stop (say 7 hours), vehicle struggle to move, especially when I start in the morning. After riding around 1 km all good.

Here service guys told me first it is carburettor issue and cleaned it, it did not fix the issue.
I went again to the showroom to complain, he told me it is normal, so I tested the same on 3 other brand new scooters in the showroom (Alpha, Ray Z and Ray ZR)
In that first one(Alpha) I found the same issue.
Second one did not have the issue(Ray Z) - which he told me that they did ride that scooter in the morning
Third one showed same issue very slightly

Can anyone tell if this is a serious issue and service centre guys just lying over it?

Warm it up in the morning and tuning should be as everyday in the morning to start on one kick

If you are getting good mileage then it could be that your carburettor is tuned to run lean i.e More air and less fuel. Typically in cold conditions this can result in this symptom especially during cold starts. Pls check with service center and ask them to adjust the AF Screw in the carburettor.

Else every morning need to start scooter with choke on and allow it to idle for 30 seconds or so and then off the choke. Pls check.
