Default Throttle lag and high emissions from dominar 400 2018

I've been experiencing severe throttle issues with my bike for past few 1000 kms(trust me the SVC doesn't have any solution) and it's getting even worse everyday. Bike gets shuts off on lower RPMs, emission values are way higher than other bikes and I get petrol smell at times. What could have gone wrong? I changed the air filter too.

    Hey buddy,

I'm no expert myself but I have faced similar problems with my Duke 390 when I still had it. SVC may not have a solution but what they do have is an OBD (onboard diagnostics) machine. Ask them to use that and check if the oxygen sensors are working or not. Based on what you wrote I'm guessing one of the oxygen sensors is busted and that's why your bike thinks it's running lean and is trying to inject more fuel into the combustion chamber creating the laggy running, throttle issues and low rpm engine dying issues. If they don't have OBD I'd suggest you go to an svc that does and still if you're not able to get OBD then take out the spark plugs and check. If it's light brown then it's lean, golden brown to brown is fine and wet oily spark plugs means rich mixture. I bet if you look at your spark plugs they'll be wet or oily.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers
