That's right on the money. I had advertised both on olx and facebook marketplace. Olx brought out a lot of shady dealers posing as genuine buyers. I got a lot of enquiries from Facebook, many trying to lowball but finally got a guy who appreciated the condition of the vehicle and the fact that I was able to show a clean service record as well. We finalised the deal at 50K.

It's a little more depreciation than I expected to be honest. But I guess the two wheeler market is brutal. My past two sales with vehicles that were not as popular in the market were even worse (CBR250R - 2.25->1.65 in 1 year, Unicorn 160 90->60K in 1 year). At least here, I had the same depreciation (33%) in 2 years

Still not a bad deal for CBR250. About the Unicorn 160, it didn't sell much which is why the pricing is never good for it. I was looking to buy a Unicorn 160 a while back. The olx prices were discouraging.

set it to 0.10mm & 0.12mm on the exhaust and inlet valve respectively. see how it behaves (noise, starting issues, throttle response/pickup, idling).
these values are ok for most of the scooters out there today on our roads. a little more clearance is ok vs no clearance.

For the previous Access it was 0.05 IN and 0.10 mm EX according to their training video for technicians. A similar vehicle from Suzuki - the Step 125 allows 0.04-0.07 for inlet and 0.08-0.12 mm for exhaust (psr sir posted the shop manual long back). I don't know if the CR is changed for the new access. If no, should be more or less the same as Step 125.

Can anybody shed some light on the carburettor switch on the access 125 bs4 as well as the old one? How does it work? It deals with ignition timing, but how. Out of the two wires going to the switch one is ground and other goes to the CDI. Hv mostly seen potentiometer like TPS modules on carbs but this seems to be different, as it seems like a simple switch! BTW the carb is Ucal vm 18 - 258.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
