    2. Turn the knob to "main/on" as soon as you've refilled the tank by x litres.

    3. Next time when your bike hit reserve then note down the trip meter reading, say y kms.

    4. The FE is y/x kmpl.

    Repeat the steps for each riding style you may wish to find the FE.

    And do post what figures you got in steps 1, 3 and 4.

    You are one lucky guy out there. I've been waiting for the last 3 months and still it is not sure, if I can get her soon or not. Regarding the run-in, you have got your answer. Just try for an oil+oil filter change after 100-200 kms.

    P.S: This is not a standard procedure, but I've read it in the posts earlier.

    just stay below 6000rpm for first 1000 kms, shift gears around 4000 rpm or so, dont lug it and rest of the info you can find in owners manual. Happy Revving
    @prakhararya and shreyassave

    Thanks for the advice guys

    @shreyassave

    Ya Im really Glad that it will reach me within a week of booking. Many Outlets here in Chennai have Stock of R15 most of the time nowadays. Ive enquired in a few showrooms.. For a Full cash payment they are ready to give the delivery within 3-4 days. But the problem I faced was that I couldnt get the Blue one. Only the Red and black ones were in stock

    Fill petrol when it hits reserve... FI machines are easier to use since no fuel on,off,reserve etc... All is done automatically...

    Did you find the reserve knob in V2, would like to see that if you can share the snap as V1 doesnt have the knob man. Just kidding

    By the way i come to know something which i would like to share with you all, simple yet logical every 9-10000 kms, when you do your servicing check your electrical with the meter from authorized showroom and ensure power reaches all end points without any disturbances and there is no leakages involved, also check the rubber bushes and engine bolts every alternate servicing

    Happy reviing

    Yes no reserve knob in V2, As soon as it goes below 2 liter F starts flashing near trip reading in digital display, means it hit reserve and we just need to refill

    I do agree that best way to check mileage is to reset trip meter as soon as you see F on your display and then fill the tank with X liter and note the reading when it hit reserve again and do the calculation.

    As per this calculation my V2 (Run in) is giving mileage of 50 at highway and around 42-44 (combined highway and city). I am still keeping it below 5000 RPM and using all 6 gears changing between 4100 -4500 RPM
