Does anyone know, hopefully from experience, if the CBR250R fairings will work on a CBR150R? little to no modification hopefully. Both 2011 model range.
Seems I can easily get 250 fairing kits but not 150.

IIRC Bangladesh doesn't allow motorcycles with more than 150cc (recently, 165cc) to be sold there. That's the reason why so many new launches in 150cc segment there.

Had recently saw a CBR 150R for sale. When I saw the vehicle, seems like the starter motor gear is gone and should be replaced.
Also, the sales agent said that the engine should be rebored.

Can someone pls help me to get an estimate of replacing the bore(is this cylinder kit) for CBR 150 R?

The bike is awesome and dont want to miss it. At the same time, wanted to know how much it ll cost to replace the bore at Honda service centre.

Pls help me to know and make a decision.

Parts of the CBR 150R are expensive. For instance and if my memory serves me right, the clutch plates cost some 8 to 9k and the cylinder kit cost some 12 to 14k if I am not mistaken. I could be wrong, as people who have more detailed insight can chime in. But this is just quote from memory, yesteryear.

    Cheers!

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

Why do you feel that the CBR 150R is awesome when it requires the engine has to be rebored?

    Hi there,
Its better to use diesel than petrol as suggested by my Honda SVC friend. Also try to stick to recommended engine oil grade. I.e. 10w30 you can go upto 10w40. I've used Motul 20w50 for a month but the engine response was mediocre. I switched back to Motul 10w40 and I was back in action.

    Hi Guys,

Anyone one of you tried changing the handlebar of CBR 150r. I live in Mumbai and have daily commute of around 50 KMs mostly on Western Express Highway which has so many undulations and pot holes. I am experiencing severe neck and shoulder pain. Some posts on internet suggested changing the handlebar. Suggest me if it can be done and which handle bar will be suitable. Also let me know if the rear monoshock has adjustment for more softer suspension setup.
    Happy Riding....:D

    Hi All,

I own a CBR150R which is around 4 years old now. My rear tyre (TVS) gave up on me as it had a lot of punctures. I had to change the tyre. I researched a lot about tyres and had 3 Choices MRF, Pirelli, Michelin. Michelin was out of my budget (was costing more than 6k), and heard that Pirelli tyres are too soft for Indian roads, So I had to choose MRF. I was given two choices in MRF, MRF Revz S(130/70 - 17) and MRF Masseter(140/70 - 17). I heard the Masseter was very good and it's better to switch to it, but the problem was tyre profile change. I was not sure about the changing in tyre profile. But after searching online and reading few review I went ahead with Masseter. But after changing I came to know that I can't fit my plastic chain guard as it hits the tyre a little bit. Also I'm a little worried about the tyre hitting the swing arm in the joint as there in only around 5 to 7mm gap between the tyre and swing arm centre joint(near suspension).

Can anyone tell if this will create any problem ? and how can I fit my chain guard back again (without it there is dirt flying all around the bike, not to mention the chain lube.)

    Please help.
