Its good value and I think it is more than enough for a regular joe like me.
What did the costs work up to. Sorry if I missed out on that bit! Thanks

Seriously that low ? Are you quoting figures from MID or tank to tank figure ? During my run in period i used to get 20 kmpl in city and 24-25 kmpl on highway.

I get anywhere from 18-24 kmpl in city depending on the traffic. And I get 33-39 kmpl on highway rides while riding around 90 kmph.

This must be the wave rotor available as powerparts. He also installed a different master cylinder, a brembo RCS-19. As per his reviews it gave true one finger braking.

Try searching in official KTM Power parts catalogue available at any KTM dealer. You should find it.

Couple this with just EBC sintered HH brake pads and you'll have significant improvement in braking. I personally will just upgrade the pads, and if I still feel the need, to a bigger rotor.
Yes, philcuore, he's the one, who has the best modded bike in the entire 390 forum, he's crashed the bike a couple of times, and still brought the best out of the bike. @Veeral, yes, those are Galfter rotors. But for starters, I'd recommened upgrading to the EBC HH Sintered brake pads, though they cost upwards of 2500/pair, it's gotten nothing but praises from folks who've used it abroad with the stock rotor and MC.

Again, these PP are totally justified if you're a frequent track junkie, where these upgrades really do mean business, as they are meant to. If you're a commuter and are looking for "one finger" braking, EBC should be your best bet.

Also, one can get these wave rotor from Aliexpress, Chinese made, but good quality and priced comparatively competitively when you compare a powerpart from KTM.

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                  THE END

Was thinking the same about how useful is it going to be for daily commuting. But looks made me go crazy 😛.

Where can I source these EBC pads from ???

I did see some options for rotors on aliexpress. But do not trust the quality. I dont wanna risk it. But i did buy blings from Aliexpress, quality is good and way too cheap compared to powerparts.

Btw how long does brake pads last ? Normal vs EBC ?

39 wow! How do you manage to pull that off? At what RPM do you change gears?

Gentle throttle and shifting under 5000RPM and maintaining speeds of 80-90kmph easily returns around 35kmpl.

Going slightly more enthusiastic on the throttle and maintaining speeds of 120kmph returned around 32kmpl as per the Console. But by the time I hit reserve, I had a lot of changes in riding style and it did involve quite a lot of traffic. I got a healthy Range of 205Kms which translates to about 27kmpl (7.5L is what it took to fill it to the brim again).

Wow that's very low ! I get a decent 24-26 kmpl in complete city riding. 2013 Model.

                            Hi guys,
I booked duke 390 few days back. But the overheating issue has started haunting me now. My running would be under mixed conditions of traffic and highway riding.
Please suggest whether i should hold the booking or cancel it?

                              I have the same question.

Also seems many are selling their bikes within 3-6 months of ownership. So either it's overheating or perhaps the low fuel efficiency.

Tyre costed me Rs.4200 on Flipkart mobile app.

I paid 150 to the local tyre shop to install as he had to come home, dismantle wheel and again came back to install.
